I ended up going to the chip shop last night and got chips for dinner. Spent £6.10 as also bought a carton of curry but turned out they were rotten so quite annoyed I spent the money. I was just so hungry after my run and it was well after 8pm was cooking was the last thing on my mind.
So this weekend is going to be quite busy as our club heads of to participate in a half marathon this Sunday. It will be a very early start as the bus is picking us up at 5.25am to get there in time for the race start at 8.30am. Then when it is over we will be heading to a bar for some finger food and obviously some bevvies too. :rotfl: So will need to have some euros with me and then some sterling when we get back home as there is also talk of heading to a bar then too. I am hoping everyone will be so knackered that they will be just wanting to go home.Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

Oh and crochet piece for nieces birthday is all nicely packaged and wrapped. DH has taken it down to his mums for her but he said to me is that all we are getting her!!! I don't think he realises the amount of love and labour that went into that as well as materials. Even though material costs were less than what I would spend but if I were to sell it I would charge probably double of what I would spend if you know what I mean.Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

Good luck with the race on Sunday, how far is it? and where are you doing it?
Well done on the extra payment too.
What did you crochet for your niece? My mum taught me how to do a basic stitch but I can't do anything more than a square.0 -
The race is in Dublin and the half marathon is 13.1 miles.
I made her a bunting with her name on it. I never knew how to do crochet and taught myself through YouTube and other online tutorials. My mum taught me how to knit but not to the extent of knitting cardigans etc. I did manage to knit the dog a number of jumpers and that was all following tutorials too. I just find knit a long time to work anything up. But someone told me to try crochet, it is easier with the hook and when I start I would never look to knit again.....they were right. I love it and it is really easy to learn.Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

Where about do you live money manager? (just you mention dublin and I'm near armagh) good luck with your race.
My granny tried to teach me to crochet for years but I just could never get it.
I don't give my dog vitamins and we feed her a complete food but flax seed oil and raw eggs are great for dogs. Could you not just give him a bog standard multivitamin from the supermarket? My dogs a nightmare for taking pills lol, she's a shy eater (weird for a dog) so only eats when we leave her so it gives her a chance to pick stuff out. Thankfully she's pretty healthy so hasn't needed pills much.DEC GC £463.67/£450

I'm in the Mournes.
It's a bit complicated with my wee man. I did have flaxseed oil for him but everytime I ordered it, it was damaged or opened but found out with his condition it wasn't good for him. He had calcium oxalate stones in his bladder and had 2 surgeries in the space of 10 months to remove them. After the first one they found a pulp on his bladder and they reckon that was the cause of the stones. The unfortunate thing is that these stones can only be removed through surgery were some can be removed just with a diet change. He was put on Hills for it but after them returning in a short time I did a lot of research in terms of diet and came across something called Fuzzerfood. So basically I feed him low oxalate foods to reduce the risk of them returning. I think flaxseed is high in this I think. Can't remember it now. It's the same with certain vitamins. I don't think he can take Vit A and D. I have him on a B-complex, Fish oils, Vit E and Ubiquinol. I also put Calcium Citrate in his food to balance out the phosphorus in the food.
I know it's a hell of a lot to go through for a dog but we have no kids so our dogs are our kids and he has had no problems since as his last op for this was over a year ago.
My wee woman is just over a year and no known health issues and I think I might need to look into adding some Vit A and D to her food so need to do a bit of research on that.
My DH reckons they get fed and looked after better than he does. :rotfl:
I think he is right. :rotfl:Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%
