Feeling really exhausted today. It has been one busy weekend hence the lack of posting. We had a staff BBQ on Friday which was really good and only managed to spend £7 which covered my taxi home and a small contribution towards a payment to the guy that was cooking. Still haven't worked out how many we all need to pay towards the food yet and I also brought my own alcohol.
Head was not in a good place the next day but managed to get up and out for the air show which was really good and it was a gorgeous day for it. DH made up some nice sandwiches and it was nice to get the dogs out for the day. However when I got home I fell asleep for a few hours which helped. :rotfl:
I didn't do the usual visiting to mum's on Sunday as she was away but it was welcomed. I did a 6 mile run that morning and it was lovely to know that I can laze about all day. I got a good bit of crocheting done and made dinner with whatever from the freezer and in the cupboards as there was no grocery shopping done this week. But it was stuffed breaded chicken breasts which I made up myself with roast potatoes, veg and gravy so not bad.
DH didn't make that much this week as some client messed him about on Friday and then with the weather but it didn't bother me too much as we had alot of food in. Other times this would but we bought our drinks on Thursday, he got his tabacco and as I didn't spend hardly anything on Friday I still had money left over from what he did get paid with. I can get a few essentials that will get us to Friday which is not much and just put £10 in the Christmas saver rather than the £20 I had planned.
I have the nieces birthday on Saturday but I am working on a crochet gift for that and I already have the card in too.
I haven't got around to reconciling our bank balances and updating our budget as I left our spreadsheets at home.Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

He is getting on grand. He just keeps shaking his head, I think the wound is knitting so it's itching him. :rotfl: But he is still on painkillers and an anitbotic which finishes today. I really don't think the teeth are giving him any bother.Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

I noticed this morning while balancing my bank that Tesco cc took a DD out of £100. At the end of July I had changed my DD to this amount but it said to make a manual payment in case this didn't go through on time, so I did for £100 and then I did two extra payments of £90 and £19 after that but they still took the DD out. Any other cc I had, if you paid the minimum amount before you DD it would automatically cancel the DD. Anyway, all is sorted and they are going to refund the card payment I made of £100. I have to say that Tesco's customer services is brilliant. :T
I have just found out that it will cost £15 to get us to the race on Sunday and with some post race refreshments. That is not too bad but will also have to bring some Euros for drinks which I have some set aside for our holiday. Just didn't want to spend into them so hope to take it easy. I am sure there may be something organised for us coming home again which will mean more money but hope that everyone is so tired by then that we all go home. After all we will be up around 4.30am to get the bus.
After this weekend, my weekends will be pretty quiet thankfully until we go away on holiday. I have agreed to meet friends next week for coffee but that is about it.Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

I have just realised that I didn't make the trip to see mum last weekend and I won't be doing that this weekend either but will be up on the Tuesday for my brothers anniversary. My petrol light on my car hasn't come on and I think there is plenty of fuel to do me so I may get away with not putting any fuel in the car this week until next Tuesday so that will be a £25 saving.
I also must remember to call into my credit union when I am at mums to get a proper print out statement as I am not sure how much of the £130 per month I pay goes to the actual loan.Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

I normally buy vitamins for the dogs on Amazon which are costly so would love to get as many Amazon vouchers to purchase these.Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

I do similar with my Amazon vouchers usually, I use them to get nappies for DD and her medical supplies etc (not saying I give her dog vitamins :rotfl:) it definitely helps keep the costs down0

Honestly, you give me the idea for this. I give the dogs vitamins (which are human vitamins) because I feed the dogs human food and don't have all the vitamins they need. I particularly do this for wee man as he has had a few surgeries to remove stones from his bladder and after alot of research I food homecook is best (but timely). The fish oils I give him are near £40 a bottle but would last nearly a year.

There is not much to report. I made another payment of £15.37 to my cc which takes me to 2.02% paid. :j This is not including my MP which takes it to a total of 2.99% paid.
I have also raised an invoice to one of DH's clients which is for over £400 so that will go towards getting bits and pieces done to the van for MOT and also some spending money for our holidays. Hoping if they pay us quickly that is.
The crochet piece is now done and just have to do packaging, take some photos and wrap it up and that will be ready for DH to take with him tomorrow for his niece.
I am doing my last run before the race tonight and hope to get up town to get the zeros for race day. I will just be cooking quick stuff from the freezer tonight. I have been doing this pretty much all week to get the freezer down a bit and it's working but I don't think the food is filling me. I feel hungry all week. I'm eating all the crap that DH buys!Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%
