Hi
Can you put me down for £295 please? Odd amount I know but I want to reduce budget each month and as I overspent by £2.22 I thought I would just try and shave £5 off for March.
Thanks and Good luck everyone

Thanks for including me in the list for March....no going back now!
I am going to do some serious meal planning and am going to try and include a couple of new things from the Takeaway Secret and How to feed your family.........Despite overspending on groceries, we do rely on the same old things that we know both kids will actually eat!
It's my daughter's birthday at the end of the month which will put a little added pressure on right at the end of the month. What we do may depend on whether there is any budget left - so that may serve as an incentive to be good!Allypops

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the fab new thread, and all who post!
Just popping in to report two NSD, and a couple of spends from the weekend.
£4.50 on two Pizzas from Asda,
£3.50 on stuffing balls, ham, and chicken fillets from Iceland.
£13.77 at aldi, mainly on the super 6, rolls, fruit, milk, juice.
Having a real good clear of the freezer this week, and may be able to stretch using it for next weeks meals too!
Hope all are well, hoping for a NSD tomorrow, but may use some of my SSM MOCs in Mr T, with a minimal cash spend, but too not sure yet.

Hi everyone
My budget for this month is £224. Ive just sat and worked out I spend on average £7 a day when im following the GC. My month started on the 24th of Feb and will run to 26th march so ive got 32 days to cover at £7 a day.
This also has to include a birthday tea for DD1 with a homemade cake and a small cake to take to the pictures and Mc donalds with a few school friends. Quite looking forward to this moth as I came in bang on target last month. Freezers pretty well stocked at the minute as well plus I've just nipped in Sainsbobs and picked up as YS piece of gammon that was half price that will do a couple of dinners. Hopefully wont need much more buying for a few days apart from the usual suspects (milk, bread and fruit). Good luck everyoneMarch 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000
