    Im late this month!!!

Upping my budget to 300 per month. My carers allowance has come through so things are not so tight anymore.

We did a family shop in asda with both kids and DF

Spent 87 pounds but got alot of meat and cupboard staples and baby food.. For once my fridge actually looks full! And the freezer is fit to burst. We dont go to asda very often but its shocking how much cheaper it is than tesco.

Spent 2 pounds in iceland this morning one 2 x 4 pinters of milk. Green for us and blue for the baby

Shouldn't need anything else except maybe a packet of ham for lunches and fruit and veg / bread until the weekend. Well i should chuffing hope so!

Hi. Been to Aldi & Mr T this morning where I stocked up on a few half price Kello*s Crunchy Nut cornflakes which is DD's favourite cereal although not keen on it myself and some BOGOF Cathedral City cheese. It took a bit of time because I was overcharged on two things, one of which took a bit of arguing and both dtd refunds had to be done separately for some reason. Also got Easter eggs & some DVDS but will only include the Easter eggs.

Being really good on the food front - living out of the fridge, freezer and store cupboard - BUT have just been naughty and bought some lovely colourful sock wool from e-b*y! As if I needed any!

Ah, but a girl can't have too many socks! (Helps with OS living - can keep the heating down!)
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

I've got more to add already, got my receipt at home for my MrM's shop on Saturday, plus DH went to the butchers on Sat for mince for my lasagne I made on Sunday (total success for my first time making it btw, even though I had a meltdown in the kitchen :o)

Someone remind me to update later when I'm home and have the receipts, can't have me flaking out this early into the month!!!!!!
Can't think of anything smart to put here...
  • Sorted out my missing champers with Ocado at last! took many emails and I was offered a £7 voucher instead which I turned down! More emails but I now have the £7 as goodwill and a refund of £25.88 for the missing champagne! Lesson: Don't get fobbed off! Small spend in Mr T today where I bought sarnies etc for lunch as we had a hospital visit and it was the easiest thing to do. Also bought my eldest DD a nice metal suspension file in Mr T for £7.48 and they were around £20 last time I loked for one. She should be pleased when she visits later today. Having a hectic eek with lots of appointments but hopefull I won't spend!
Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults

Hi all - another NSD here. Was bought an ice cream last night and am still wading through the ham joint that I cooked last friday - guess that its a pasta bake again!! I dont really mind - the gammon was from Dec 2010, the pasta from approved foods and the philly cheese on offer at £1 - all followed with some fruity bread - thanks for that recipe!!

    Have a great evening everyone
