I'm sure she will get everything from the dry as it is a good make - it really is just being able to get close & check her over a couple of times a week that makes me want to continue something wet.
I didn't know that about the pork .... she's just as happy with sliced chicken or turkey so will get some of that instead! Thanks:)I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly

Have just sat down and read the last two and a half pages! I don't bother buying magazines any more cus what you lot have to say is far more interesting! How MSE is that?:money:
Bodmin 789, the chick pea balls recipe looks yummy, will be making that this week.
Tigerfeet, inspired by your SC recipes I made pork in cider in mine last night and it was lovely, leftovers for tonight too (we are more than happy to eat the same thing night after night!)
Rising, sorry about all your problems with Mr T. Interestingly there was an article in Sat's paper and I quote "Te$co has been accused of quietly raising prices before a new round of its Big Price Drop Campaign. In six weeks Te$co has raised the price of 3 items for every 2 it has reduced, according to Brand View data". Who'd have thought it?!
Went to Mr M yesterday evening, it was heaving:eek:. Was going to buy a chicken for lunch today, but their free range ones were priced between £7 and £9 and I just couldn't afford that so got pork instead which did lunch for 3, and we will use the leftovers for stir fry in the week. Spent £13.20 in all. Walked so was limited to what I could carry!:DMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Caveat Emptor!
Re my Oc@do issue (used my 20% off voucher to order 20 packs of Sheb@, x 3 different flavours, on offer anyway at 10 packs for £5 instead of 58p each. Thought this was a winner, giving me a net pack price of 40p instead of the 50p (fairly widely available) offer.
Realised I hadn't got the 10 for £5 deal on 40 out of the 60 I ordered and queried it. Told it only applies to max 20 packs in total, not per flavour, so 40 out of 60 packs went through at 58p not 50p. Less 20%, admittedly, so that makes them 46.4p, but even so, I wouldnt' have bought all that Sheb@ if I'd known. OBVIOUSLY!!! So I am still having that debate with them but thought others might like to know. You find this out by clicking on the red text that says '10 for £5' under that product on the website. It's only £3.20 in total but I don't really think it's clear on the website so am pursuing it.0 -
NSD today, was on night shift last night. DD13 made roast chicken for lunch, very nice too.
DS05 helped to make HM Pizzas tonight, had some lush mozzarella from M&S that was YS. Used the left over chicken, and LIDL passata to make the sauce. Clean plates all round, and one for the freezer!
Going away next weekend, so need to save my pennies, as DD will be 14. Got her a name necklace, so hope it arrives in time.

With her .... errrrr Jekyll & Hyde springs to mind (or the Incredible Hulk!) ... she loves a cuddle and will lie on my knee or next to me on the sofa for ages .... but only on her terms - she'll be purring away and then just turn around and bite you for no reason:eek:.
He spends most of his indoor time upstairs (they don't get on understatement!) but does sleep on the bed but it's not very easy to check him over then.Rising, sorry about all your problems with Mr T. Ohhh that's interesting ... tbh I rarely shop there exept to go for specific offers as it's so expensive compared to everywhere else.carolinerunner wrote: »Caveat Emptor!

Nice cheap meal
I laughed at this! My two do things like that - we think we're doing well, giving them nice things, and all they really want is stuff on toast, or soup, or baked spuds!!!!Florenceem wrote: »Don't know if we are allowed to put a link on here - I got a Rolser.
Had a quick look - they look nice! Would you (or anyone else) recommend a 2-wheel or 4-wheel option? I'm thinking 2-wheel would be easier to store, and better-looking to transport, but would work as well?DundeeDoll wrote: »It's unloved money found on the road / pavement / floor. OK. Who's 'Twinks'? I have a bone to pick. I made a batch - they came out of the oven at 1700. By 1730 there was nothing left. I didn't eat any and there's only us and the dog. And I don't think the dog ate any. I caught a crumb. Delicious. But dangerous.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500
