NSD here. We had chicken/roast potatoes/roast parsnip/carrot/onion/swede/turnip and gravy for dinner. We were meant to have pork but Mr F found the chicken first!

Scotmum, thinking of you and your family at this sad time.

Winchelsea, thinking of you too, amazed and impressed that you were able to cook for so many people, indeed cook at all, on such a day.

A note on the subject of trolleys, saw them in B&M at £8.99, may not be so sturdy as the (super) one mentioned earlier but also jolly patterns and might be worth it as a tester, if you're not sure whether or not you'd use one. I'd be tempted but my local shops are too dear to want to do many big shops at, smaller shops I can carry in a couple of bags.

Without meaning to I seem to have spent a lot in the first days of March, having said I wouldn't. Did an 0c@do shop, just delivered, for the 20% off voucher, mainly used on cat food (Sheb@ is rarely less than 50p a square foil thingy and my cats are also horribly fussy tho the Ald1 lookalikes aren't bad now and then, they seem to think). As mentioned earlier, Pets r us also reduced (12 for £5.50) but not mentioned in store, just came off at the till. Duh. Also now need a huge bag of RC Fibre Response which is good at keeping my big boy on the right path in the digestive department (hope not TMI!). Off to update sig then off to bed!

Just noticed the 10 for £5 hasn't come off 40 packs of Sheb@, £3.20 owing to me, I reckon! just emailed them...

Another spend in Mr M's today, only went in for a loaf for us and some tuna pate for DD, came out £29.94 lighter. Made the mistake of going with DH. Nuff said!
Spent £17.51 on cakes, bread, chicken dippers, ham and cheese for us. £5.00 on stuff for DS and £7.43 on DD. I wouldn't mind so much if they actually lived with us. :p

Hugs to all who need one.
