This is mine, basic but surely it should be enough for 200 MB of the software?

    Satellite C660D-10W

    Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit (pre-installed, Toshiba-HDD recovery)AMD V140 2.3GHz 3200
    - DVD-SuperMulti +-R (Double Layer)
    - 2048 MB DDR3 RAM (1066MHz)

I'm still having dificulty getting it to type text into BBs like this one, half the time it thinks I am referring to general commands for switching programs on and off!

Is there a general tab on Dragon to switch between commands and dictation?

It's not the 200MB of software that's important, it's the processing power required to recognise what you're saying and then convert that to text.

On my iMac the speech conversion is very quick with almost no delay, on lower spec machines you have to wait while it catches up.

You can switch between 'Command Mode' and 'Dictation Mode' you simply say which mode you want.
One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.

I would expect dual layer 2.3 GHz would be good enough though. I have switched it to high performance (I had it on power saving mode before, which didn't help!)

This is dictation mode, yes it seems to work okay now, thanks for that
