I had to do this with Miss Hinge and it hit me like a smack in the face having it in black and white but it stopped us having to go to tribunal and got her something DLA related.
facebook has some ESA/DLA support groups if you search for them, lots of people with some cracking advice, maybe worth a look.
Thank you so much for this!! I would never have thought of keeping a diary as part of the appeal, but it's a brilliant idea :T

I don't know about you Plmbl but my days are good or bad or meh! I rarely remember what I have had to do and often under estimate the care I have to give superman and miss hinge above and beyond that of a child with "average" needs. The amount of times I pick Miss hinge up of the floor after a fall I would guess as a few times a day, in reality the diary showed she fell 10-12 times daily if not moreit helped me pattern superman's sleep to see how little he does sleep but also the amount of hours he spent awake before he went to sleep.
The diary has also been my reference for all hospital appointments and been my "backing" when Health profs have been reluctant to accept the deterioration in Miss Hinge's condition.Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Superman is off school today  he has not slept more then a hour a day since saturday  he has a stonking cold, temp of 39 and his itchy eczema has flared up so all in all he is a very stressed little superman. I'm heading out to work so am Leaving Dr Hinge in charge..... master hinge loves his toy doctors kit and has promised to take good care of the patient until i get home
I think today will see lots of iPad time, unlimited juice and plenty of cold cream to smother him in!
1st of April today and my "fake-away" challenge begins today :T I am a little excited!!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

To night I am making "curry-in-a-hurry" paste of memory girls blog ans it smells divine. Never one to follow the days on my menu plan we have opted to juggle around and have curry tonight
3 chicken breasts, tin of tomatoes, handful of mushrooms, peas, diced onion and a good dollop of this curry paste and it smells beautiful!
I have thrown together some bombay potatoes and have some rice cooking, no naan breads today.... my arms and wrists are playing up and I have closed the food budget spends this week for anything other then milk :rotfl:
on the "fake-away" menu we have:
indian..... tonight with chicken "bhuna" and bombay potatoes (£25 from the take away......)
Pizza hut...... hm pizza, pasta and wedges with hm gf cookie dough for pudding :rotfl:(with a 50% of voucher this would still be £20 from the take away)
chinese........egg fried rice, chicken chow mein (£15-17 take out)
kfc...... (we NEVER eat there but I like the idea of tastie chicken) will be chicken pieces marinaded in spices/bread crumbs then cooked and served with corn on the cob and hm coleslaw ( not sure but usually followed by a few days SSP for food posioning
)
Mc D's...... (superman's favourite!) will be home made chicken bites/burgers with skinny chips! (£20 a drive through.......)
I have a book called "takeaway secret" that I bought mr Hinge for xmas a few years ago to break his fast food addiction:cool: it has some good ideas!
I aim to cook these meals as "fake-aways" for 1/3rd of the cost or less :beer:Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Menu sounds yummy! We would be inclined to make take away type food, ie. curry, chicken burgers etc, but not from total scratch. We cheat ever so slightly!
And :T to the ££ savings!! Fantastic!mary_hinge wrote: »...not sure but usually followed by a few days SSP for food posioning

:j I feel very refreshed today after a mammoth 7 hours sleep
Mr Hinge got up with Superman and left me sleeping  Lush!
Money wise this weekend I have made my fabric envelopes and have withdrawn our weekly money out of the cash machine and put my card away until next week!I made it a whole 5 days this week with out using my card
looking back on my bank statement in February I had over 400 card transactions :eek: not surprising I couldn't keep track of my money!!
I have decided my craft supplies are not only taking up loads of space but also ££ sitting waiting until I find the time to use them. I think it is time to de-clutter my expensive pure wool stash and make some ££s backI easily have £100-150 I could part with and still leave a substantial stash. I will get them photographed and on a sales page this afternoon :T
Talking of all things wool-like I am currently knitting a cardigan for a good friends birthday in July.... Here's hoping I finish this a lot quicker then the one I made for miss Hinge :rotfl: or it could well be a christmas present
Expenses payment hit my account yesterday for my work mileage and parking, I have moved it over to my "car account" and will save it towards tax in the summer months. previously this has been gobbled up in the daily spends.
I think at the end of April I will have enough saved to be in a position to offer a 30% full and final offer to my smallest debtI am working on finding out while I need to write to and I have my letter template complete :j they can either take my 30% or wait until 2021 for my debt to be paid off :rotfl::rotfl:
small steps in the house of Hinge but positive ones none the less!
How is everyone else? Stripes you still alive and kicking? HaW how is the new job? Plmbl I hope your taking some time for yourself x

sleep deprivation is torture
I enjoyed making the fabric wallets and plan on making a few more to help with holiday spends, clothing etc......I have plenty of fabric so it won't cost me anything to make them other then the ££ I spent buying them in the first place:o
I worked yesterday and today I am catching up with [STRIKE]sitting on my ar$£[/STRIKE] everything else

No idea Mrs Hinge, it's been 3 weeks. It could be we came back from holiday at C£nt£r P**cs, or his trampoline session was cancelled or he fell on his face in excitement for home time at school. Cut his lip and gums and has a wobbly tooth but his awakenings started before the accident. It's like a needle in a haystack looking for the trigger.
It's not too bad we've had worse but still zzzzzzzzzzz
Other than that the King is a happy boy in the daytime and even said chocolate today when I asked him :j
Budge up Mrs hinge I'm sitting on my arS£ too.0
