Master Hinge peeing in drains  even NT's can be quirky :D

Display toilets :rotfl: reminds me to steer the King away from those, chocolate logs in those will not be fun :p

Good news on the motability with Missy Hinge, it will really help.

Still jealous of your spa day, really want to book one, have to wait till grandma Stripes is here for childcare.

I understand Mrs Hinge about the money, the Kings activities are always more expensive.

another day begins at dawn in the house of Hinge:o

I am typing from Miss Hinge's new laptop (new to her anyway ;)) and it feels amazing to not have to battle with the blinking iphone small screen and squint to read what I am typing! :j fingers crossed this makes her homework a whole lot easier for her as writing is really killing her hands at the moment :(

it is my friends birthday Monday and we are going to tomorrow for a meal, I am slacking and have nothing in the birthday box to give her and no vouchers either  I will have to use some well earned boots points ( I save these for my posh foundation) to pick her something up.

:eek:must dash school run has my name all over it!

having studied this for too long I need to get our finances cut I logged in to stepchange and the thought of this hanging around my neck for another umpteen years is too much to bare. I also need to save money I want my own house, not someone elses where I pay through the roof to live here... I want to pay for MY own roof and some bricks would also be quiet welcome :o

Ladies where do I start?! I know there is no magic click my fingers and hey presto but there has to be another way then this?! Family is ever so important to me, we need time to de-stress and just be together away from daily grinds. A camping holiday will be on the cards in the summer and days out are already paid for by vouchers/clubs. I can't take any extra pressure, workload or such the camels back is already groaning under the strain

I think I need to look at our services, the mobile bills have crept up with the iphones, the fluffy bunnies cost us a fortune and re-homing the rest would take away some of the daily jobs I have but the children will cry and plead and sob and I will feel hopeless and a failure all over again. Superman has long shifted his "need" for them and other then master hinge chasing them around the garden with the sweeping brush and throwing them the odd carrot they are left solely to me.

Mrs H feeling very heavy hearted :o

    :grouphug: Mrs Hinge.

Get rid of the rabbits if Supermans needs of them has moved. Other than that it's difficult to advise as with the King his food and activities really engage and help with his development. I feel your pain.

I need to find them a really good home, the french lops went to an amazing home which made it easier to let them go, unfortunately there are so many people out there that will abuse and neglect animals it makes me worried about letting them go, after all my financial car-wreck is not there concern :(

How are you stripes? how is The King?

  • I understand the rehoming dilema. My puddy tat really would be better off in another home and it would save a lot of money and effort if we didn't have her, but I can't let her go unless it's to someone I know and trust. Unfortunately, no one I know and trust wants her right now :(.

Are there any petting farms or animal sanctuaries near you that could have them??

You should NEVER feel hopeless or a failure!! You are outstandingly awesome! Xx

Most of your SOA you seem to have under control. Few things if you don't mind?

Mobiles - I know there's 2 in that, but any way you can drop to a lower tariff or SIM only deal?

Groceries you say you're stuck on that so will move on!

Clothes - can you put off for a month or 2? Hard with kids growing so fast I know!

Pet is costing you a lot. But I get where you're coming from ref rehoming. Just keep eyes and ears open for somewhere suitable :)

Haircuts - can you stretch an extra couple of weeks or DIY? OH used to get his hair cut in town. Only cost £5 a time. But last year he bought a set of Wahl clippers from TK Maxx for £11ish, and I'm his new barber! (never had a lesson in my life so if I can do it anyone can!!! :))

Entertainment - can this be reduced or cut out for a few months? Swimming/riding are under a different category so the kids won't miss out on their big stuffs.

Holiday - I'm loathe to tell you to forget a holiday!! :o lol

Not sure if any of that will be any good to you. Others on mainland will have more of a clue as to water/elec bills etc.
