    DFW welcome back!

I like the idea of working in cash it is sooooo much easier to over spend on my card, I just need to get in a system of having enough cash flow as we get payments of small amounts every few days!

I think if I plan to save so much ££ each week for the last 3 weeks of the month when most of the monthly bills have been paid and the weekly ones have been taken out in cash at the begining of the week. I don't have access to my buildings society account online other thean to send money to it so maybe if i transfer the money there once it's "gone" I can't dip in to it with out braving the town centre :rotfl::rotfl:

clothing spends are high but when Miss Hinges boots cost £180 a pair there is not much else we can do :o

I plan to read up on F&F's as I think it could be a way forward but I don't know much about them at all. I like the idea of Haggling and battering to reeduce my debts :rotfl:

The joy of banking with Natwest means any payments due in/out Monday show on a Saturday so today is officially pay day :j and housing benefit payment has arrived as well :T I have pondered about our cash flow problems and think if I can stand been really really skint this week then it should shuffle things along to balance out in future weeks.....

I have withdrawn all the ££ I need for food, petrol, parking and Superman's activities and paid all the bills that needed paying so whats left in the bank is to stay untouched until the 7th of April.......:eek:

I spent £78 in asda today instead of the usual weekly £120-130 :o and plan to be very inventive with the food we already have!

Sunday Gammon steaks hm Spicy wedges
Monday chicken "fake-away" curry, rice, bombay potatoes and hm Naan
Tuesday Beef stew, dumplings and giant yorkie puds
Wednesday Spag bol and Hm garlic bread
    Thursday Chillie and rice
    Friday Hm Pizza and wedges
    Saturday Lasange
Sunday chicken roast with stuffing and yorkie puds
Monday minted Lamb with mash spuds and peas

I plan to have left overs for lunches. Miss Hinge takes a flask to school, master hinge and Superman take sandwiches and such like.

I have rummaged through my baking cupboard and will get some GF snacks made for Miss Hinge, thinking banana bread, butterfly buns and some cookie dough to freezer. Master Hinge has put in a request for chocolate cake :rotfl:

i checked my clubcard points for boots, tesco and nectar and they are looking good :D I will have £30 in vouchers from tesco next mail out which will be swopped for 4 times the value days out vouchers, boots I have £12 which is half a posh foundation refill  and £6.67 in nectar points which will pay us all in to Vue for kids club one morning of the summer holidays ;) I love getting something for nothing!! :j

Mr H has promised me a lay in tomorrow morning and I can not wait, Master Hinge has a horrid chesty cough and has kept me up the last few nights coughing until he is sick, the bags under my eyes have been replaced with suitcases and not even posh foundation can hide them!

I hope all you lovely mummies are spoilt rotten tomorrow

Thanks for that Mrs H :T

I'm ok thanks, just annoyed with DWP and their stupid appeal system, but you know all about that eh?!?!

The system is disgraceful. Are you still battling to get Mr Plmbl in the ESA support group? We waited 8months for miss Hinges Dla to be sorted and then just accepted the low level they gave her when she should be entitled to at least middle rate as the thought of fighting them any longer filled me with dread.

  • I am Mrs H. Their frontline staff think he should be in the support group, as do everyone else I speak to, but because his problems aren't exactly what the book says, 'computer says no'. So infuriating!

And there is me thinking as people we are all unique and individual.... sigh blinking text book diagnoses and little tick boxes to squeeze us all in to!

keep fighting Plmbl I believe Atsos have lost the contract for DWP so hopefully in time the process maybe more rational!

    :D Happy Mother's day :D

well I didn't get my lay in  but Mr Hinge did spend the night in master hinge's bed with him coughing and spluttering so I could get some sleep :j

Yesterday we have found a new home for the bunnies we have :( I feel a lot happier knowing they are going to an amazing home and will be well loved and looked after . They will leave us next weekend and will save us £60-65 a month, be one less responsibility for me and will make heading of for last minute camping trips much more likely (and less expensive :rotfl: rabbit boarding costs as much as the camp site does!!)

I have counted out my 20p's in my campervan and I have £26.80 in there :D plus £8 in £2 coins that master hinges has put in the wrong saving pot :rotfl:

Miss Hinge has given me a whole heap of attitude today, back chat and stroppiness

I have scoured the internet today for recipes to aid our new challenge for April which see's the Hinge Household replace take-aways for "fake-aways"

I am most grateful for memory girl's blog which gives me the answer to "curry in a hurry" http://mortgagefreeinthree.com/2012/05/curry-in-a-hurry/

and a fantastic craft solution to my new "envelope" system! :T:T

Mr Lucky is sick enough to bypass Atos thankfully, but we are still banging our heads off the wall with DWP. And people think the benefits system is easy money and cheatable!! Er, how?!?!

Great news that you have found a new home for the wabbits! Xx

I would keep a diary Plmbl, everything you have to do to support Mr Lucky, prompting, teaching, extra supervision etc etc...keep this for a week or two and use it as supporting evidence. I had to do this with Miss Hinge and it hit me like a smack in the face having it in black and white but it stopped us having to go to tribunal and got her something DLA related.

facebook has some ESA/DLA support groups if you search for them, lots of people with some cracking advice, maybe worth a look.

Yay for the credits! ;) Had to ring HMRC ref my new wee PT job so they could update their figures. Haven't had the figures back yet for the credits. It's a new financial year in a weeks time so hopefully things will get back on track for OH (credits were cut when I lost hours at work, so ended up we were both short on money! :p)
