kettles on the boil and I may actually get a hot cuppa today!
Half term has been a much welcomed break for Superman, he is a much calmer child in the holidays and alot less stressed. He has chilled out to scooby doo on repeat all week.....scooooooby scooby dooooobeeeedoooooo!
We have a houseful at the moment, we are fostering a mum cat and her 4 kittens until homes can be found after their owner moved house and abandon them... I must be mental but hey I couldn't leave them. Mum is doing well now she has had a few days of good food and kittens seem alot less wobbly. Hasn't done much good for my grocery budget :rotfl:but they have filled the house with giggles! Superman wants to keep them all  2 have potential new homes next week or so when a bit bigger! Kitten anyone?! :rotfl:
Moneywise payday saw the hard cash of my overtime the last 6 weeks :j:j is has bought Superman's birthday present, new hiking boots for Miss Hinge's wobbly ankles and the rest is in the holiday pot! Heard from my solicitor about my car accident and they are close to a settlement figure which will help towards a new car when ours gives up the ghost... it is getting on for 15years old and on it's last legs.
heading out to the park for a picnic and to let the little Hinges feed the ducks and burn off some energy!
Mrs Hinge who still hasn't bought a tumble dryer :rotfl:Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Well I actually feel refreshed, A rather large glass of vodka before bed with Mr Hinge on children duty meant I actually slept a whole 7 hours :j:j I have come down to utter chaos and mayhem but so chillax-ed I couldn't care less about the mess!:o...... not that I am advocating tuning to drink in such situations.:rotfl:
Booked our tickets to Legoland for Superman's birthday and got a good deal online! only paid for Miss Hinge and Superman as baby Hinge is free and if we take proof of conditions we can go in free as carers. :T this has been the deal breaker for Superman not having a very expensive party!! Have also applied online for a merlin charity consideration for tickets to go on a day trip. Have you looked at this Stripes? http://www.merlinsmagicwand.org/
So today is mainly housework, laundry and school preparation for tomorrow  Superman has already made it clear he can't go to school tomorrow as his leg hurts and scooby doo is on all day! :rotfl: got to give him credit for trying but he will be going!!
I'm hoping this evening to finish of some custom knitting I have been doing, that will be another £30 for the pot! I have almost finished Miss Hinge's cardi that is mind boggling and will be starting on another custom order for a cabled baby blanket in mustard yellow  I suppose it will hide the baby poo....:o
Roast gammon for lunch today and I will make a vat of bolognaise sauce and a veggie chillie. 2 dozen cupcakes to make and some white chocolate cookies I think.
washer has finished with load 4 must go and peg it out to dry and make the most of the sun :j

:j to Legoland
Superman :A away off to school today or was his leg still sore??
Hope you managed another good nights sleep - preferably without the vodka beforehand!!
PS. Any cupcakes left??Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Thanks for the link Mrs Hinge.
 to your vodka!
Drink really helps to overlook the organised mess by my 2 year old. It's amazing how she can play with every toy and use up all the floor space in the house.
Glad to hear you're feeling better here is another :grouphug: group groping0 -
:o:o Echo! Echo! Echo!
* must get some WD40 on that door*
Sorry I jumped ship for a while
so much has happened in the last few weeks  Superman :A has turned 5, he is currently absent from school with a broken bone following a day at school :( and looks like that's him finished until September, I am almost relieved! We are all set to go to a tribunal hearing with school and it is taking up alot of my MSE timeand in all honest making me rather mardy :rotfl:
on lighter news I lovely tax rebate and returned credit from E.on have helped the bank balance this month :money::money:Holiday, car tax and insurance and Miss Hinge's birthday will rectify that!:rotfl:
How is everyone?
Miss Hinge (who is yet to buy a tumble dryerbut maybe responsible for the local flash floods with all these tears :rotfl::o)
