Well done Hinge household on the sponsored walk. :j Brilliant!
Bad news I'm afraid Mrs hinge, the King has been bitten by a pupil in class and has regressed slightly. This is the 3rd time within the school year and he only attends part time as a nursery year. I am on the rampage, meeting tomorrow morning
 poor the king ::( i hope heads rolled today.Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Thanks Mrs Hinge, HAW and DFW for the support
Morning meeting was tense, I requested for a full one to one assistance for the King (there is already one teacher and 4 assistants to a class of 6) for the rest of the school year to ensure he was not bitten again. We compromised to at least a few weeks until the King was confident in class.
I could see the deputy head's eyes considering the extra £££££'s needed to cover this. Thankfully they didn't fight me too much on it  I have to say though they are a fab school most of the time
Day trip tomorrow to the seaside in Weston-super-mare to get the king back on track :T0 -

I hate what school does to him and wish I could get school to comply with y requests as you did Stripe, all I get is glares and pityful looks like I want the world.
Did you have a nice weekend?

Group hug Mrs Hinge :grouphug:
Totally understand the stress and its awful as a parent being unable to console them. To Superman :A
I went on a rampage with the school because it was the third time and I felt they failed in their duty of care. I was gutted I didn't get to use most of my notes like the health and safety and education act and my formal complaint in writing!I was ready for a fight
Request a meeting Mrs hinge and get senco, outreach and the head in there. Write down the problems, the effects on superman and possible remedies. Take a very large file, it makes you look more fierce
Whereabouts are you mrs hinge? I was able to find a charity who provided information about education for special needs and they can attend the meetings with you, they are like the middle people between you and school when there is a problem.0 -
*hugs* from me too!
And yup to all stripes says!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
:j finally 5 minutes to myself, the house is still sleeping after a much disturbed night, Superman :A finally dropped off at 5am after a hissy fit involving his iPad and it's flat battery..... lesson learnt new griffin survivor case ordered from ama$on using son survey vouchers :j not to fit the huge hole in the wall  maybe a huge poster would make me forget it?! :rotfl:
Mr Hinge is doing well with the shopping and we came in at £49.21 from Mr A's and £18.32 from the butchers leaves just enough for a sack of spuds!
Meal plan looks like this:
Saturday cajaun chicken with home made wedges and mixed veg
Sunday 1/2 roast chicken dinner (lovely butcher cut it in half for me to do 2 sunday roasts as the fussy folk won't eat left over chicken!)
Monday sausage, egg, chips and beans
Tuesday minted lamb shank with mash potatoes and veggies
Wednesday chicken curry with rice
Thursday jacket potatoes with chilli (lo in the freezer)
Friday Pork loin steaks in a mustard sauce with chips and peas
Lunches will be ham, cheese or jam sandwiches, or cold pasta. Hm jellies/poor-man's trifle or yoghurts. Hm lunchables with bread sticks and pots of cheese spread/chocolate spread, apples/bananas/sultarnas
breakfast will be cereal, toast, sausage/bacon s/wich today and a full english Sunday
fair to say we won't starve :rotfl::rotfl:
Working all weekend on call so won't be venturing much further then the garden gate until I'm off duty! will give me chance to tackle the ever growing laundry pile and thousands of cobwebs that have appeared the last few days!
How is everyone else' weekend looking?
Mrs H..... who couldn't bring herself to buy a tumble dryer after all....:rotfl:Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Mmmmm liking your meal plan
We had a lovely dinner yesterday. Can I recommend the 2 for £8 chickens in Asda? The garlic and herb one is seriously yummy! Just the right size for the 5 of us!
Weekend went well. Went to see the fireworks in Portstewart Friday night, out visiting mum all day Sat as OH was at the NW200, and yesterday was quietWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
 to the hole in the wall! Face of an angel they are
King had his first day back in school after the accident. I was a nervous mummy and expecting the school to ring but all went well. He ran so fast in the playground when I went to pick him up I thought he would take off! He gave the biggest hug ever, it was wonderful.
Lovely meal plan Mrs Hinge.0
