I've been neglecting you I haven't really had much to share :cool: life in the house of Hinge has been chugging along better than ever! Who would of thought a house move and new schools would transform our lives the way it has?!

Superman continues to thrive in his new school, he has found a passion for music and drama and they are rolling with it! He is loving learning to play the drums and is gaining some much needed confidence. He even had a few "friends" over for a halloween party! And for the first time ever his school pictures are amazing :rotfl: he genuinely looks happy

Missy Hinge is joining the gifted and talented pathway at school and is doing awesome she speaks amazing Spanish now and continues with her love of musical theatre and drama. She is heading to the west end early next year for some workshops! She has finally been referred to a specialist to help with her PoTs and Bp problems and is fighting her way through her pain and fatigue to keep going!

Master Hinge has settled in amazing at his new preschool, He has ben referred for Speech therapy as he is often difficult to decode...... next to superman he is amazing and clear so we missed that and feel terribly guilty. He starts his swimming lessons after christmas and I recon he is aiming to be a future master baker :rotfl:
"mummy we make cookies......." "mummy we make cakes!!" he already knows what ingredients we use ......... shame he isn't quite so helpful at tidying and washing up afterwards :eek:

Although Mr Hinge is struggling at the moment he is finally getting the help he has needed for such a long time, he has been seen by the adult autism pathaway and it looks very likely that he will be diagnoised with aspergers syndrome. He is hoping they can help with some much need social/ people skills. He has become a nightmare with his food/OCD/anxiety since his referral but I guess that is to be expected as a coping mechanism. Interstingly, we are better then we have been in a long time. Overall "acceptance" seems to be the key.

Moneywise we are all sorted for christmas, debt repayments are going "ok" - we could do better. I think the new year will be a good kick up the bum to refocus and get back in the game 100% and meet more then the minimum repayments. Energy bills, food and petrol seem to be our biggest areas of cost :cool: The Hinge's must have hollow legs as they always want feeding :rotfl::rotfl:oh and activities to keep me entertained I've never been out so much for coffee and cake with "friends".....

Diaries bought ready for 2016 and all important info has been transfered over.....

I have never been so [STRIKE]bored or unchallenged[/STRIKE] organised!! With life calm and settled I can't help wondering about going back to work.....As thankful as I am for this calmness I know this can't be all there is to my life, my brain is rotting and my confidence is vanishing.......I've even joined the PTA at 2 of the schools and become a trustee of a charity to keep the old brain cells ticking over! :eek:

a few new decorations have been bought and are laying ready in their bags waiting to begin the christmas magic! I'm not sure who is more excited..... me or the little Hinges!?

The christmas lights get turned on this weekend in town and then a few weeks later we get the cola lorry!!

All I need to worry about now is whether santa will put anything in my stocking

I've been somewhat AWOL the last few months so perhaps a whistle stop tour?

In December we have had 2 birthdays (mine and Mr H's) our 13year anniversary, 2 poorly cars, 1 car crash and a broken shower/flooded bathroom (:o jinxed myself whinging about having a "boring life") school holidays and not forgetting school holidays and Christmas! :rotfl:

Today is the last day in our December budget and we are heading in to 2016 with a +£65 balance in the bank (first time in a long time to have more then a tenner ) and a joint total debt of £14k and a few £'s...... Have paid in all christmas cheques today in to "my" account which will add to my measley amount of pocket money to cover my make up/posh smellies/highlights etc... if I feel the need to splash out! :cool:

January and February 2016 budgets all done, car MOT and service due in February but had 2 new tyres today and both cars had work done begining of the month so the car fund should cover what is needed. Beginning of the school term brings music lesson's invoices for Superman and Missy Hinge but the activity savings are looking good to cover these.

All in all not looking to shabby, plenty of debt busting planned, "start as we mean to go on!" is the attitude in the house of Hinge.

Christmas has flown by, the decorations are tucked safely back in the loft for next year and Superman is enjoying the house being back to "normal" Well as normal as normal can be for us :rotfl:

The little Hinges have been amazing over christmas, Superman has chatted away all day long about skylanders, Master Hinge has been scooting around the house on his new scooter and Missy Hinge has been using her headphones to save my ears from the noise of her new electric guitar :rotfl: When asked what was his favourite present this year superman made us all teary by declaring the best thing about christmas was spending it with his family :A:A

The Xmas 2016 saving tub has been made, decorated and sealed ready to eat all our spare change and £2 coins until November. Even Superman donated his money from the tooth fairy that had to visit us christmas day;)
