Mrs Hinge you are so happy since moving house :T and well done to losing 1stone :T
All calm here too0 -
It's made a huge difference to us all Stripes, Life in our new house is so much easier to manage!
Up and out early this morning, kitten is at the vets to be chipped and de-jewelled
I have taken my eye of the ball with out finances and we have gotten a bit sloppytime to re-tighten our belts abit. We are doing well with our dmp repayments and mr H's CC but we could be doing better. Food bills are creeping up again and we seem to be wasting money on nothing much! I have a £6 charge this week for going over drawn by 34p
again a waste!
I chased up my car insurance renewal and bagged an extra 10% discount. It is still £5 a month more than what I'm paying now but still the cheapest deal I could find! I have researched energy tarriffs as our fixed deal ends in 2 weeks and found a cheaper one which promise to save me £16 a month, I wish Eon would make their mind up with our bills, on annual usage they say our payments are too high yet they keep asking to increase them!
The last few days I have been cooking! I am trying to cook 2-3 meals at a time so they are ready just to reheat, it is worth it for the hour in the kitchen 2-3 times a week! This morning I made meatballs in a veggie sauce, used up all the wrinkly bits in the fridge and have 3 tubs now in the freezer for quick meals!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Running on empty today, arms ache from yesterdays knit-athon so everything is in 15minute bursts today.
First 15 minutes was clean all mirrors (4) and the downstairs Loo.... wipe round, empty bin, hoover and steam mop floor.
Moneywise £54 for the kitten to be snipped and chipped yesterday, saved £19 due to being on the monthly vaccine/flea club. £19 in sainsbugs last night for Missy H some free from stuff and cereal bars for Mr H.... his latest obsession. £10 today on cat food/litter/fresh bits.... Budget look ok.
Our play date for today cancelled so we are having a gaming day whilst I potter about. Boys have requested sausage, egg and chips for tea. Ive got hm Sw meatballs with veggie snd rice
Ive Just finishing my cuppa so will get on with the next 15 minutes! It will be the hallwall..... already done the mirrorJunk shelf to clear, shoes to pair up and tidy, door frames to wipe, magic easer on master H's handprints  floor to hoover and steam mop.

Superman is wiping the window sills with a baby wipe, Missy H is putting out the recycling and master H is protesting :rotfl:
Next on the list.....
1) empty and reload the Dw, clear the sink and work tops. empty the bin and put it to soak with bleach. Peel potatoes for chips.
2) Wipe all the cupboard doors...(high black gloss show every smudge:cool:) hoover and steam mop the floor. finish off the bin.
Then I'm settling down to sort out my yarn stashNo if's or buts!

Hi Mrs H, so pleased that all the Hinges are doing so well. Shame that you had to go through so much carp with education, medics etc prior to the move, but that's the sort of stuff life throws at us sometimes I guess:)
Another sunny day here, but flippin cold though. OH and I had a lovely day out yesterday, the yummiest lunch at a posh farm shop (and just a few little treats of cheese and butter somehow came home with us too:D) Then on to NT house with huge level parklands and gardens, so much walking (for me, not for normal fit folk) done among the snowdrops and woodland. Absolutely cream crackered today, moving like a 90 year old, but it was worth it.
Have a great half term.

Although we "knew" we were right it eats away at you and I think the battle we had was a big cause to my meltdown. on the upside it means since the move my mood has steadily improved over the last 12months!

 We are still surviving halfterm with no major hurdles :rotfl: Trip to the cinema this afternoon.... £24  and thats with 2 free carers tickets  We usually only go to kidsclub at £1.99 a ticket but Superman put in a special request to see the new Alvin and the chipmunks movie.:A He has asked for chinese food for tea so the last of our holiday budget will go on that.... He has found his taste for new foods these last few weeks and it is fantastic to see him eating something other than cheesy mash
it's working wonders and hes had a huge growth spurt.... not so good for the clothes budget though
March budget done today, Mr H's car needs it's MOT and service but there is money for this as long as no major surgery is need!!aiming for £5-600 over payment on debt all being well:j

Hey Lucky,
We had a lovely time thankyou, Superman chuckled and chattered all the way through the filmMaster H was singing along and sounds really cute :A I made some Sw lime "Haribos" too which tasted amazing and kept me on track!
Superman really is a hoover with food at the moment :rotfl: can't fill him up£86 in sainsbugs 25% off sale and he has enough new threads to see him through until summer. Master H is going to be a right bobby dazzler in his handme downs and most of them are brand new or hardly worn
I hope you have survived the holidays without too much drama, Be kind to yourself lovely x xLiving in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Creeps in* someone remind me to put some wd40 on that squeaky door
Well I blinked and we are 6-7 weeks down the line from my last diary entry  Sorry!
There's a few reasons I've been MIA, a dodgy laptop charger, writers block but mostly feeling like a fraud. Debt busting hasn't really being happening recently. We pay our dmp payment every month and mr H's repayments to his CC but very little else. The intentions have been good but in reality the money dwindled away on other bits. Our bad luck with the cars continued but *touch wood* we seem to be sorted now!
Sadly Grandma H died a few weeks ago from a short battle with the dreaded big C and this week saw us say our goodbyes. Everyone is feeling abit fragile and the Easter Holidays have been all about coming to terms with it and preparing for the funeral. Missy H did some amazing crafty bits with beautiful handmade flowers as a tribute and I couldn't of been prouder.
We have baked enough cakes this last few weeks to feed a rather larger country! Missy H and I have had some wonderful afternoon teas with our amazing friends and my new found love of vintage china! I feel a charity shop mission coming on hunting for my very own! Mr H said he will buy me one from the ELC like Misy H had as a toddler if I want to play at tea parties:o
SW is doing well and have lost 26lbs this year so far. :TMissed weigh in this week but will definately return next week. I think this is the longest I've stuck to a healthy eating plan ever. :rotfl:
I'm continuing to stash bust my crafty supplies and have found a new passion for crafting groupsIt gets me out the house and socialising if nothing else!Missy H had a friend to play earlier in the week and they used up my supplies to make bath bombs, melts and lovely lemon salt soaks. I plan to gift these in pamper hampers for the many friends of mine that are pregnant and ready to pop after the summer..... continuing the home made 2016! Had a few up turned noses at our hm gifts but I shall simply not give them anything next time!
£121 sitting in my account from a TCB payout, I plan to half this with Mr H as we both could do with some new walking boots, if we spend wisely we should get a good pair each :T
I am taking the little H's camping again this summer with my newly divorced friend and her beautiful boys..... we had a ball last summer and at £40 each for 3 nights it will be a welcome break in the summer holidays!
Superman continues to come on in leaps and bounds. He is trying lots of new foods, socialising with his new school friends, he is bursting with facts and figures and gernerally just a fountain of knowledge! He is very settled at his new school and we couldn't be happier for him. I wish he would sleep better but I guess we can't be ungrateful and want everything :rotfl:
Missy H is doing well at her new school, she continues to struggle with her fatigue and pain levels but she is winning the war slowly but surely! I'm so very proud of the beautiful, caring, intellignet and independant young lady she is becoming. Settling in with her new peers hasn't been easy and teenagers can be vile  but I think she has turned a corner.
Master H is well master H! We should find out soon which school he has been allocated and keeping our fingers crossed it is the same as Superman! His speech therapy is going well and they aren't concerned about him in the slightest, we think it was a over cautious preschool rather than us missing anything
Anyway I can hear Mr H trying to wrestle them in to the bath so I best go and save him :rotfl:
Until next time!
