It has been a rollercoaster of a ride these last few days
moving is taking forever and the old house still has some bits still to move
Mr Hinge rather fantastically crashed the moving van on wednesday:( £1600 excess  .......gutting. he totaled tghe new neighbours fence at the same time  luckily they are lovely and said we can aort it out when we get settled in!
the new house kitchen is now fully working..... washing machine, dish washer..... camping fridge :rotfl: new fridge freezer arrives monday!
The Hinge cat is protesting at being kept inside, between him howling and superman screeching and humming it is erm rather loud here :rotfl:
and then there is the big build..... Flat pack city...... 2 wardrobes left to go.....
Today brings even more tip runs and a gazillion loads of laundry!!

 so I have a peaceful house, a cuppa tea and 5 minutes on the sofa!
The new house of Hinge looks rather spanking with a touch of cardboard city :rotfl: to be fair the boxes are due to go up in to the loft when my back is wiling to help Mr Hinge!
Superman is really withdrawn, he told his 1:1 today he feels sad :(but can't explain why. it's not the new house..... he loves it! so who knows!
I have updated my SC dmp budget although we are still waiting on a decision on HB and CA so it may change. payments have increased by a whooping £1 pcm :rotfl:Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

The chaos is finally settling down..... :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j Loving the new house!!
we have been haemorrhaging money the last few weeks with the move but....
£20 refunded from the fridge freezer I bought after complaining about the 3 week delay on delivering it!
£20 hunger horse voucher claimed free from Tesco club card points
£15 argos voucher claimed from my natwest cash back rewards
£190 sitting in TCB waiting on it to clear.... im very impatient!
HB sorted out our claim rather speedily so that is also sorted and so is the council tax bill...... £74 refund from the old house bill last yearThe man at HB sorted out our entitlement to give Superman his own room and us the 4 bed rate with means our rent will be all covered bar £74 a month that we need to top up. He was rather  that the housing application hadn't taken superman's needs in to consideration when we were applying for social housing.
water meter is still ticking over but the application for water sure cap has been posted and the refund from our old house last year has been applied to this years bill...all £36.81 :rotfl:
budget looks ok, petrol costs are higher than I expected running the little hinges to and from school the 3.5miles each way, Missy Hinge is still on part time hours so the miles are really stacking up. I did a big Aldi shop lastnight for £62 to fill the cupboards with some essentials. £7 at the farm for 25kg spuds and £24 at asda on everything Aldi didn't have.
Today I've baked 24 cupcakes, and made 8 sausaged rolls, 4 of which are in the freezer ready to bake fresh as needed.
meals this week:
sat: Pizza
Sun: roast beef and yorkie puds
Mon: lasange
Tues: beef stew or pie using left over roast
Wed: chicken curry, rice and naan bread
Thurs:chilli wedges and garlic bread
Fri: chicken chow mein
Missy Hinge goes of to france next week for a few days.... I'm really worried about her fatigue and pain levels but her lovely TA is going just to look after her so I know she will be well looked after. The epilepsy medication she is on has been discontinued so we are down to our last box, luckily we have enough until she gets back and then we can deal with the side effects of changing over to new ones.
Parents evening this week was a mixed bag, Missy H despite 74% attendance is top of her year in all subjecs, she will sit the level 6 SATs paper in may with just 5 others in her year :j:j
Superman is showing small improvements in his maths and reading but he flatly refuses to pick up a pencil to do any writing. The feel he is becoming dependant on his 1:1 too much as she is having to help in all of the time.......(my understanding is that is exactly why he has a 1:1 because he can't manage alone!!!!) He is becoming a little chatterbox and loves talking to his teacher about alsort of randomness..... she even knew we have a Henry hoover and it has it's own cupboard :rotfl: or and that we now have 2 toilets in the new house :rotfl::rotfl:
Master Hinge has had the lurgey, after his pneumonia last year he has been unable to shake of his cough and wheeze a trip to the Gp this week brought inhalers and some steroids to try and shift it once and for all. He is mardy as can be and I have renamed him a "threenanger" :rotfl:
The ex landlord continues to be a a$£4hole but Mr Hinge is dealing with that, my anxiety escalates just at the thought of dealing with him. fingers crossed we get some where with him as I want my deposit back!
How is everyone? still awake after my long waffling waffleness? :rotfl:
Mrs H...... who has lost no less than 5lbs this weekLiving in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Good to see you back! fingers crossed everything starts to slow down a bit and come to some sort of normality. Bless Superman and his chatter boxing. and Missy H... what a little genius she is!!
Feel very free to ignore me here, but.. I think from schools perspective they are looking at Supermans 1:1 as something he will eventually not have, so they would rather he wasn't dependent on it as it won't be forever, whether it ends at some point during school or when he leaves.. do you know what I mean?
Jelly would happily still be spoon fed by me at every meal of the day, but at a point I had to step back and say no, you have to do this on your own now. I know the meltdowns I had from her so I can only imagine Supermans reaction to a similar detachment.
As for your threenager... I have one. First it was 2 colds, back to back. Then gastroenteritis. Then right off the back of a week off with that she got another tummy bug on her second day back at nursery. Getting on top of that and today she starts with a runny nose and conjunctivitis. I could bl00dy cry. I feel your pain.. the pneumonia.. you must have to be so careful!
Good to see you meal planning and writing up on here. what time should I be round on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday?
5lbs!! :j:j:j well done Mrs!!! xxx
