i phoned them on that 0871 number also but waited nearly 20 mins for a reply and then had a talk with a guy called peter and he agreed the free stand for me ,10 minutes later tv turned up +stand, good look

glad you got your tv and got your free stand - hope everything is still ok with it.

I managed (at last) to get through to them and spoke to one of the sales reps just before 5pm. Told me my TV would get delivered Thursday or Friday - told them that wasn't good enough as I paid extra and expected it Tuesday - if I wanted it Thursday then I wouldn't of paid the extra postage :( anyway he told me to go online - gave me a link and write a message to one of the managers via feedback about the situation and that I should get a call from them either within the hour or thursday morning :( if they dont phone by 9.30am guess who is back on the phone. please people if your reading this NEVER buy from savastore - never deliver as promised

  • i'm looking for a 32" hd lcd and after much examination on these forums and teh web i've come across these 2:

    http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/512495/art/lg/32le2r-lcd-television-sky.html?itag=5891#avisconso

    http://www.intekx.com/product_info.php?cPath=17&products_id=104

i'd be tempted to buy the lg just because it's a brand i've heard of but from what i've read a known brand doesnt always mean its better. also because it looks a bit better too.

my main problem is the aoc has a better response time (6.5 compared to 8ms) but the lg has a better contrast (1600:1 rather than 1200:1) - which feature would you guys say is more important?

    thanks for the help

Don't know about the tv, but for the love of god, don't buy from Pixmania... if you have a problem, you are NOT covered by the sale of goods act, as they ship from france... and boy do they know it, CS is terrible

Hmm, ordered before 5:30, emailed to say I'd get next day delivery, but order at present is still 'being processed' Well done Misco.co.uk
