Viewpia LC-32IEF4 - 32" Widescreen HD Ready LCD Television - With HDMI - £329.99 (Amazon)

Hannspree 32" LCD TV HD Ready Black - 282.53 (Savastore)

I'm looking into a 32" LCD - these two seem a lot cheaper than what I've seen around the place, anyone bought either of these? I'm not sure whether these are 720p or 1080p but the prices look good anyhow, opinions appreciated

The Hanspree you mention is the E1 model I think with 720p. This model only has one HDMI and pip. I bought the later E2 model from Intekx which is 1080p, has 2 HDMI but no PIP for £330. Got it last week and I am very pleased with it. I bought after looking at this thread, so thanks to everyone for their recommendations :j

The Hanspree 32".......I have looked at the spec and the photos and can't find any scart connections? Does it have any? If not how do you connect your other equipment!

Sorry I'm grey masquerading as a blonde :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope someone can put me out of my misery! :rotfl:

Only thing with this is that it's 1080 interpolated :o otherwise though it seems a good deal, and it looks like peeps are happy with it too. 32" was fine for me until I saw this 37" Hannspree for £100 more  :D

I managed to order one of the 32" from MISCO before they sold out on Saturday I hope...at least the order went through ok and I've got an e-mail confirmation so fingers crossed...with quidco it came to £266 which is a bargain for a 32" LCD.

I originally was going to buy a £500 laptop as needed a new computer but since looking at these stupid prices I thought I'd instead by one of these for £266 and stick it on the wall and then get a cheap desktop for £250 - total £516 - bargain!!!

This way I get a new TV as well as a computer which is handier than a laptop for me - thanks to all of you for posting on here as your help has proved invaluable and without this thread I would never have known the prices had dropped this low on 32" LCD's.... (The comets, currys and dixons of the world would have us believe you have to spend at least £400 to get a 32" LCD TV.)

Doesn't anyone think something dodgy could be going on with this company Hanspree. In the last 2 weeks there have been numerous deals from various merchants with Hanspree TVs.
Maybe this company is on the verge of going bankrupt and when this happens all warranty's will be void. This is whats stopping me from purchasing one of these.
I dont know if its just me being over cautious but doesn't anyone else think this could be what is going on?

Doubt it, they have been marketing aggressively for months now.

Started with 19" widescreen lcd pc monitors, came down from around £140 to £90ish.
The main cheapo 32" tv offers seem to be for an older model they want to clear, if you read back on this thread. Which is only HD 720p whereas the later V2 model is higher res. AFAIK they are a German marketing company who's goods are sold widely.
LCD s are bound to get cheaper as production increases and advances.
