Received my Samsung LE36R87BDX yesterday and it's amazing.
Great picture quality, great design and although I don't have SKY HD or V+ HD the colours are great.
A bonus CSI Miami is filmed in HD so last nights episode was better than normal, I do prefer Vegas though) .
20/10 for this TV so far, very happy, and as it's for my bedroom 37" is big enough. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -

if u dont have a HD (Sky HD or Virgin V+ box) then the CSI you watched wasnt in HD. You also have to remember that on those boxes the channel has to be specifically HD..... ie. sky 1 HD, sky sports 1 HD
glad it looked good anyway and that you enjoyed itPLAY GOOD!

Well the colours and image quality was the same as those rotated dvd's on HD tv's in stores tempting you to buy, so something was different.
Was good though, yeh. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -

the channels do look a lot better on my cheap LCD now as well... I do know what u mean,...just letting u know that HD should be even better.
HD is going to take time to settle.... ie freeview doesnt have firm plans and sky and virgin I think charge more (box and subscription) for the pleasure
I wonder actually what will be that much better? people have mentioned seeing the sweat on a sportsmans face.. suppose wildlife will look good...for for ur general programme can anyone educate?PLAY GOOD!

Are there any good deals on Amazon.co.uk does anyone know??Blackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan.
Baldrick: Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?
Blackadder: Yes it is.
Baldrick: Hmm... that's cunning.0 -
