Prices are dropping like no tomorrow also manufactures are ridding old stock and newer models tend to have more hdmi slots, 1080i resolution on higher models and integrated tuners becoming more common0

Thanks for that, I think I might go for the 37" now0

Just bought the Samsung LE37R87 LCD off 1st audiovisual for £663 (total cost with next day delivery and 2% CC fee).
Looks like a top set, good reviews and well rated seller.
However after ordering I noticed the 40" version of this TV was selling for only £70 more!
Ah well , I s'pose you have to draw the line somewhere.
I have V+. Will I need to purchase any extra leads?
Thanks0 -
i dont think you get one if you have a standard tv when the v+ is installed0

I ordered a Hannspree TV from MISCO as they were selling them for £280 plus quidco (5%) so bargain at £266... I placed order Sat and half expected them to call today to say they couldn't fulfill the order...
Sure enough 9.30am - phone call which my wife took.
"Sorry we cannot deliver your TV as we don';t have any stock...blah blah blah... my wife was very nice about it (if it had been me I've have told them they were crap, and quoted numerous consumer rights before probably swearing and hanging up)...however my wife then called me at work to give me the bad news...
10.30am MISCO ring my wife again and say they have just 'found 20 more TV's' and would we still like one, they were only calling certain customers and as my wife was 'so nice' they decided to offer one to her (I may have to learn that shouting isn;t always the best way for good customer service!). However it's clever as they've now re-submitted the order but over the phone so no QUIDCO discount. Very clever Misco!
On the whole I'm glad they've sorted it out but frankly too many retailers are now advertising stock at stupid prices and then they are unable to fulfill the orders...EBUYER are frankly great in comparison as their stock levels are at least transparent.
So if you are ordering and prepare for disappointment!!! (OH and be nice to whoever calls you from now on!!!!)Tesco is my second home:j0 -

Doesn't seem to support 1080i so I'd wait for the new spec model to appear.....0 -
