I saw these Samsungs in there - and they're stunning! Cheaper too - but RS tend to sell out quick and have tail-end stocks.
These blew away all the others on display - awesome picture. The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -
Hi guys.Anyone no anything about these?
http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/content/products/details/index~modelcode~SON-KDF50E2010ATNS.htm
With the 3 year warranty its still £40 cheaper than Comet.
But what is reprojection and whats its reliability like.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
What are the best sites for getting good prices on Sony sets ? I’m looking for a 32 inch in the new Brava range, the V model ? Comet and Curry’s are doing them for 1200ish, I’ve seen them online for around 900, but anyone know a site with them for less ??0

That's not a "NORMAL" LCD. (it's not flat/thin). This is a rear-projection TV - so about the size of a normal CRT TV.
So, Big, cheap. Depends on your needs, but avoid if you are looking for a LCD/Plasma.0 -
[QUOTE=Sid Harper;4936831 Use google checkout to get £10 off the £305.50 price!

This is not a HD TV.
I have been watching the price of this TV for about 3 months. Its been up at £400 and down to £293. I want one for my kitchen but only prepared to pay £250 as I can get a HDTV for £340 which is only £35 extra with PIP etc.
I expect price to go to £280 before £400 then a last sell off at £250 claiming a price reduction of £150. At £250 its a good deal, at £305 you are best spending an extra £35 for a future proof HDTV.0 -

Now Laskys does this tv:-
http://www.laskys.com/televisions/plasma_tvs/plasma_tvs_up_to_39/panasonic_th_37px70b.html
and John Lewis does it for this

Can a price promise be used here. I like the idea of the 5 year warranty!
The stand is extra, even £20 difference between Lewis and Lasky.
I have been lurking here for the last few months. Brought the LG42 from Pixmania did not work properely so it went back, but the wife got used to the size. So have to get a big 'un soon.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Looks like a bargain for a Samsung 40" HD TV.
