moneywaster good luck with the second job hunt.
With the gym/sky and so on you just have to decide what matters most to you which you have obviously done. You use them both so makes sense to keep them. I used to have subscriptions to magazines that I didn't read and so on which is just daft.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Hiya Hex, yeah we decided to keep sky and gym. As I said we do not go out, drink or smoke. But they will go a journey if need be. I have cut back on lots to keep them.
Rang to apply for job, no reply. I will keep trying.

Thank You Piquant.
Provident lady arrives to day. I pay her 4 weekly as that's how our only income will be paid. I am going to tell her I can only pay half payments, as only half pay coming in. Interest added at the beginning of my loan, so nothing can be added to my account, just longer to pay. Take it or leave it, there choice. so that will give me an extra £50 a month.
I have budgeted £100 for food for the two of us for 4 weeks. this is my first month, so i will alter as I go. But will do my best to keep it to that. I am going shopping today, will spend over my £25 weekly allowance but that will of course be a lot of stuff for other weeks too.
I have allowed £60 for petrol for 4 weeks. I am giving this to DH today and thats "one" of his jobs for the month, budget the petrol.
This is an ongoing project, so I will see what works for us and update as I go.
One 50th birthday present to buy this month........home made wine hamper (wine wont be homemade). Speaking of homemade wine. I grow a grape vine in my greenhouse on allotment. I get a extra bunch each year. I dont anything with some of them, as they are a bit tangy, others are lovely and sweet. So its looking like home made wine this year. Nooo idea how to do that.Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

Back from my shopping trip. £54 of my £100 spent. So it £46 for top up food to las 4 weeks.......thats my big challenge.
I have given DH the petrol money for the month. He is happy to that and see what he can save.
I work an 20 minute walk to work from home, always took the car  lazy or what. Walking from now on. DH has a free bus pass, so he getting the bus everywhere. Tax on car runs out July ( I think) see what the situation is, we have talked of getting rid of it.......another saving of £100+ a month.
