Hope you had a good weekend.
I remember reading somewhere on here that some Councils will allow payment of council tax over 12 months instead of 10 to help people budget. This has really helped some people out with cashflow. Round here they won't allow it (my DD asked), but some do.
I should think the way things are they should all allow a small concession like this tbh.
Is this something it might be worth your asking about once you are up to date (assuming you have to pay any?)0 -
Hiya Dawn. I must admit I could not fault council. They have been very very patient and helpfull. I have made numurous plans with them and never kept up with them. I have for the last year. I have been in arrears since poll tax days
. I will definatly look into that Thank You

Forgot to say. I am changing ISP tomorrow. So I am expecting my Internet connection to go down. I have not yet received my new router from new company, expecting it any day. So access will only be from my mobile( another expense to cut back on) until I get it up and running.
So if I'm missing, I have not given upProvident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

£4 spent today and have 3 days meals sorted. It is actually amazing what, you do not need if you just think. When we had two wages coming in, todays shop would have cost me £20-30 easy. I would have gone to the speed bank, had a coffee and a scone, looked in the clothes shops and bought, then wasted money on unnecessary food buying. So the fridge looks a bit empty. Whats the point of having it full, then tossing food out.
I watched a documentary just a few days ago about the amount of food that goes to waste before supermarkets even get it on the shelves..........sinfull. Only 1% of it goes to charities, as charities don't have the cash to distribute it all.

PAYDAY LOAN
This is the bain of my life, costs me £100 a month.
Like many other, why did I do it ?
They take £500 on my payday, then I have to borrow £400 back again. Only way I can see forward, is to just keep borrowing less and less each month until I can do without it. My family are not in a position to help with such a amount . My friend would pay it in a flash, but owe her so much to date, I do not want to go to her, and I want to start paying her back. She has told me she does not want it back but I must pay it. I would feel for ever in her debt. Big lesson learned there. As from April I will be £100 better off, so hopefully with savings elsewhere too. It wont be long before I can clear it for good.Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j

I know exactly what you mean about the payday loans, I wish I'd never taken any out! That seems the best way to repay. Me, I'm going to try repaying the whole amount this month and not borrowing again! I think I can do it, I just need to be disciplined (easier said than done, especially in my case, but I will try!).
Good luck with your journey, have subscribed to your diary..0 -

Hiya Mellonicoley and VfM4meplse, Thank You for reading and posting.
I have quite a bit of stuff ! I do have an Ebay account and have sold a few things. I just find the wrapping and posting a chore. That is probably an excuse for cannot be bothered. Well I think I will try again. Times of need. One mans junk is another mans treasure, so they say. IMO don't know that one ?
I will do my up-most to borrow back as least as possible, can I count less paid back on less borrowed as a saving ! or am I kidding myself. Good Luck on not borrowing yours back, keep me posted or have you got a diary ?Provident[STRIKE] £550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£450[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£400[/STRIKE] £300, Friend [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE], £800 :j
