80% - that is super impressive! I hope you shift the car stuff very soon too! Things are quite hectic with other things here, and the holidays are here. Once they go back to school I will resume my challenge - I can't see much happening with it this week, although we are going camping for a few days, I may have a look around some charity shops whilst there. I like the fact that the money is small so the risk minimal. I'm toying with the idea of keeping it at £5 and then the profit I make going into zopa. That way I wont be tempted to spend it. I may run a risk and up it to £10 though....I know, I am C-raz-y.May GC - £100 per week
Week 1 - £120/£100 , Week 2 £110/100:o, Week 3 £110/£100:mad:, Week 4 £50/100Week 5

As I came away from a local cash and carry I reflected on the fact that some of their compatible ink cartridges were now down to 75p (+VAT) but not for a printer I've got access to. It didn't occur to me until I got home that I should have bought them and stuck them on eBay. Heck! I am now trying to decide whether I can be bothered going back for them.0

I've never really risked big money, the small stuff makes it so much more fun. I picked up some AA 'P' Plates from Tesco at 38p each. Made nearly 300% on them. When I have risked large money, it has never been anything excessive, the most expensive thing I have bought was £28, doubled my money on it and walked away laughing. I have bought a few duds for around £18 though.
On another note, Tesco has been poor recently. A lot of their RTC labels have disappeared, clearance and ex-display items are minimal and there isn't much that would take my fancy.0 -

Hey all,
Kinda new to MSE, well I signed up a while back. But now I gotta take it more serious (financial difficulties).
So today I signed up for swagbucks and I've managed to earn 107 so far. I noticed a few of you are doing online bingo as there's a lot of good 'sign up' incentives. Is it worth it? I'm not keen on gambling, and tbh is it a good way of dealing with ones finances?
Anyway, Im gonna go look at other income options. Ebay is out as my paypal account was locked out years ago because someone stole a phone and the money for it from me....and paypal says its my fault. Anyhow, forget ebay.
I have done book selling on amazon in the past and made a few quid from that, so I guess I gotta either check charity shops for books, or find out dates for local car boot sales
I'm done babbling now....oh yeah, hi!SwagBucks: 1070 -
HI truscotsman
sorry its been a few days since i have been around - was away visiting family. Welcome to the thread and i hope you find it useful.
The bingo sites can provide a bit of a boost as long as you are not having to spend your own money - its best to check the rates on topcashback or quidco for signing up (or indeed swagbucks). Or keep an eye out for referral offers where you get cash added to your account (not just the deposit £10 and we give you £30 type offers). Long term it probably doesn't help that much with finances, its more of a take advantage of the sign up offers and hope for some winnings type thing.
My update:
well i finally cashed out on one poll£40 will be winging its way to me soon!
I have also made a few more sales of DMI's which i need to add up and add to spreadsheet to see where i am.
I am still selling off lots of job lots of things i have bought over the years but not adding these to the double money challenge - using that more as a way to pay off the rest of the debts etc.
Must have a wee look at zopa - have lent now using the new system and it seems pretty good. As they are now tracking the loan rates and adjusting automatically i have started using the auto lend. Will be interesting to see how the earnings stack upDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go
