It's me I am sorry you are sore. I have been ok, but had an incident a clue of days ago which reached crescendo last night when I was unable to move my right leg at all, but really needed a piddle! I was awake most of the night, but it feels much strong this afternoon. I also think I have developed rosacea. Grrrr.

Only sore in certain positions & totally my own fault :o

Sorry to hear you're still battling different issues. Might the rosacea be your facial skin reacting to the change in temperature? It's spent a long time being cold. I have to keep well moisturised or I go red.
I thought rosacea was something fair-skinned people were more prone to? If you do have it you'll need specific products to use :(

My dad has rocacea and so does my half sibling (unrelated to my dad). I am very pale now, but used to tan to a love
Y dark gold colour and never burnt....I had really lucky skin, but it does seem to have changed over the years and is less sun tolerant.

Both dad and sibling take low dose antibiotics for life for it. It would tie in with some other skin problems I have had and the recurrent eye infections. :(. Stress can. Trigger it :D

As Alfie may not be 'switched on' till this evening, I will hazard a guess that it's this:

    http://www.6-x.co.uk/

which isn't to be confused with this:

    http://www.6xale.co.uk/

although, thinking about it, I could probably be persuaded convert the latter into low grade fertilizer! :D:o

my PA has got it correct...;)

Spent another day boxing stuff up at old home... We have to get it cleared quick now as DD2 and her OH and GrandTwins may go stay there until they find new home as (fingers crossed) they may have a buyer (after about 2 years - lovely house, fab garden with a cabin attached to mains electric and water and still are only offered small price :( ). Either we or they will up the council tax as currently we have a reduction as house isn't lived in.

Yesterday we had a couple of really nice guys come in and move large numbers of book cases and a sideboard from old to new home. We asked them to quote for a London trip to take stuff down to DD1, got it today and it sounds reasonable to us. I hope she will accept quote as I really want her piles of boxes plus the furniture she said she wanted out of the place! But with the new babe she may want to hang on a bit longer... But we can't, so it either goes fairly soon or gets trashed. Sounds mean, but it's nearly 2 years since we moved out and she didn't get her act together sooner. Grrr kids! ;)

I hope those of you with physical afflictions get some relief/benefit from the apparent decent-ish weather we shall enjoy over the Bank Holiday. My dodgy knee has taken a bit longer to fix than usual, but that's probably down to the weather as well..... staying out and doing more! :o

As it lies between us and a restock of Lidl's ice cream, we did a quick visit to RHS Rosemoor today. :D Of course, all their stuff was way ahead, but they'd just planted their parsnips in some fancy biodegradable liners, so when we got home I planted mine in their toilet roll inserts. :p

That's a good idea Rummer about the talking books. I sometimes take the radio along, but I haven't found a way to fix it onto the sprayer yet!
