Rhiwie I think that is your best option to drop it off and a drop off point, did they say why they didnt pick up?
Piddling it down here....its so depressing now the weather, its sort of dragging everything down:o:o:o
Davesanve.. I think 'house kids' have been happening for a while sadly, kids being kept indoors most of the time
If its piddling down by you it will be with us in an hour
No CTC, no explanation but lesson learned. I'd rather forego sales than have this kind of hassle.
Housekids, 3 definitely not, outgoing, atheletic etc, 4th................
And GDs as likely to be found on long distance bike rides, swimming pools or climbing walls as in a sweet shop. Could be something to do with having an Olympian for a Dad :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I have a feeling we may be breeding a generation of 'house children' too.
I did my first proper gardening yesterday. After months of sitting on the Phormisol because I couldn't find a time slot to lay it out perfectly, I decided it was better to get the job done imperfectly than not at all. So it's now laid over a strip of land in the North facing side of the house, but one that's got only a little shade. 150m x 1.5m. I think it should make a nice little growing plot. Oh thinks that because it backs onto a traditional hedge that's overgrown and turned into trees, everyhting will get eaten by slugs, but we'll see.
Next project is clearing out the greenhouse, but I don't know when I'll find the time for that as qwe're builder hunting from here on in.0 -

Um, I don"t think you are allowed to look for ones that are qwe're specifically. Equal opportunities swing both ways, after all.. Best just look for a normal builder and check how tastefully they dress and whether they get the needs a home really has

i turned lori and flo back out into the field, met by a rugby scrum of others making sure they were ok...:D youde think theyde been away for months...:rotfl:
the gardener chappie there [who i dont like...mutual] was asked to jet wash all the york paving around the house..i was watching him ... he had one hand in his pocket, spent 4 hours doing it and managed [loose term there] to do aprox 8m x 4m  aprox 1/8th of total.... he is sooooooooooo bone idle
friend wont sack him cos the 2 guys he employs would get the sack from him and they do all the donkey work and have young families... she just keeps pushing him... its when she's not there that he goes into 1st gear !
oh and he hates dogs...and they seem to hate him..:o so when i let em all out [my 3, sons 2, daughters 2].....oooops;) :rotfl: well he moves a bit quicker...:D

DD2 posted this p*sstake by gay marriage supporters on straight guys which I thought was just so funny and illustrates LIR's dress code comment perfectly
.
I'd certainly be happy to use a builder with a good understanding of colour combinations, hard work ethos, snappy overalls and well toned musculature0 -

I haven't checked link yet, but it's just one of those things that couldn't bother me, sex or sexual orientation of builders and trades'men. We had a great female sparky from the electric provider who came to change their wiring on our board, The dogs loved her.0 -
My green manure arrived today it is a tiny bag much smaller than I had thought :rotfl:Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0
