Rhiwie that is not dissimilar to the Pixie cases, they are lovely and perfect for an overnight stay. I have a navy and a red one :D

I mentioned food prices earlier, well I just did my weekly shop and  there is a small yet noticeable increase in the prices already :( Looks like I will have to start meal planning properly.

This month is going to be a busy one for me planning and organising (which we all know I love) so that I have a few things running smoothly before my time is taken up by the garden and veggie growing :D

Food prices. I am slowly converting more than a few of my middle class friends to Aldi. They wouldn't have been seen dead there a couple of years back. Now. it's quite chic!

I do not mind where I shop however we do not have an Aldi near us and I found Lidl to cost slightly more for the things we eat. Also looked at Approved foods and the things I would use are equal in costs to the supermarket I use. Maybe we should change what we eat :rotfl:

We had another 'physical' day, spending a few hours this morning hefting all the blackthorn etc that I cut before Christmas over the fence and stacking it in the field. This was not aided by there being at least 3" of liquid mud in the areas alongside the fence and even more on the ditch side. :(

After lunch I had another satisfying bonfire, though it was rather a long way from the stacks of cut wood. However, I didn't want another area of scorched earth, so I just dragged it across. The fire took an hour to get going, but when it caught, I was just about able to keep up with it.

I'm not burning all the wood, just the thinner bits. Blackthorn is good burning timber. There's a pretty good stack building up now.:)

Looking at chicken and duck housing again. I quite liked the idea of Old English Game for their self sufficiency, but then I saw this http://www.mypetchicken.com/chicken-breeds/Old-English-Game-B78.aspx. Do you think they'll tolerate the children, or would I be better with a more "docile" breed?
