Other people sniff the air and say..'snow's acomin' ' where is I feel the pressure change in my swollen head and get 'the nipple issue'.

When my nipples feel like that I know it's just time to put a jumper on!
Had to resort to one today, but yesterday was all shirtsleeves.0 -

It's not funny really. That winter I was out a lot in the unheated defender, hauling people out of ditches and the like. Dh broke his ribs, slipping and falling on a bucket (I never knew feed buckets would freeze so hard!). I was in bloody agony. I tried cotton wool lining in my bra, hot water bottle under my jumper, all sorts). In the end I had two baths a day lying on my stomach with my legs sticking out behind me, so my breasts at least got warm for a while in there.
I was terrified it was frost bite and they would drop off;)0 -
Right....now when i see snow, i will think of lir's nipples and .....REMEMBER not to run a bath and then forget cos i was laughing at lir !!!!!!!

Well I guess we'll have to wait a bit to see how right you are there, but to me it doesn't smell or feel like snow yet. I've high hopes for a decent spell in November to cancel out some of the wetness we've had to endure.
At the moment your village looks, like us, to have plenty more rain to come, Dave.
Things alter day by day but currently it's a case of make the most of the next couple of days because it's downhill from then. There are several days of rain forecast &, after Thursday, the next day described as sunny is 23rd
LIR - :rotfl: I've never heard of anyone who forecast by nipple :rotfl: It's normally a part of the anatomy that reacts to cold but not before the temperatures drop. Maybe you should rent them out to the Met Office:D
I don't get the pressure problem from snow as such. It's a high/low pressure thing for me so more in line with, say, gales than precipitation. It feels like someone is sitting on your head.
Is anyone else fed up with the US election? Half our newsreaders seem to have used it as an excuse to jolly over the pond.
Hey America  :rotfl:0 -
