& plenty more rain to come.

Personally, I'd call that the 'Middle Taw' but the people who fish there wouldn't consider anything much smaller, I suppose.:(

Pete has a good few hundred yards of the Taw bordering his land, all controlled by a syndicate.....or at least that's what the members of the syndicate think! :rotfl:

Hi _ sorry for not keeping up.

One thing I will take a peek at is Doomsday Preppers that CTC mentioned - sounds like when we lived across the Loch & you never quite knew when you'd get out - bad enough here but that was extreme, BUT no where near as extreme as those folks possibly are.

I just filled in the rare breed form for the sale in Nov - just entering 3 pairs coz of all the killing that happened. It's all an effort & I will ad locally some cockerels for sale, but probably freezer them for Winter if no one needs them. Just gonna have one tomorrow - an Orp usually does us 4 days!

Weather really torrential at times & phone & internet going funny - bit like myself with side effects.

    Onwards & upwards Dreamers.........

We did one of our front hedges today davesdave. The other is the one coming out, We are dreading feeling exposed, but worth doing.

Lots of pouncing about today too. And horses wormed. (I worm at this time of year for the things you cannot do poo sample testing for). So while nothing monumental has been done I feel we have made progress a bit. Tomorrow has to be better and then next weekend we have one day not here and the other day will be working like stink.

    .

A friend of ours who used to have pigs said a strange this this afternoon, asking us if we had cameras watching the new place, and the pigs?????

Suspect they just trying to warn you. I keep half an eye on the North Wales news (more specifically the Llyn Peninsula) and there were a number of reports of sheep rustling this year, wouldn't surprise me if similar happened to pigs, especially Happy Pigs when they are getting big enough to be worth selling... I know it's horrid to think of, but even in fairly wild places animals (and machinery) are being stolen.

Edit: see others have answered this too.

tomorow iwould like to go to the local carbootsale....if its not raining.....but that means i have to wake up early just to look see IF it is raining.....which means bang goes a lie in if it IS raining as i will be awake... but worse senario is that i could get up,go and then find its not on cos grounds too wet even tho its not raining.....but i dont want to miss it if it IS on as it might be the last due to the weather.....

Dilemma??? As if you dont get up to see if it is rainging or not, you might miss the bargin of the centuary, and could be worth ouper money and you will win the beay challenge hands down, but on the other hand you could get up early and its piddling it down and no bootsale..so you will be awake...

I think the have given mega rain for tomorrow, or was that monday????

Alfie going to have a look at that ebay thing tomorrow;) to see if its worth bidding on and how much...to go too... I thought you couldnt repair cast iron???

If I didn't love Alfie Her finds (and hoard) would make me green with envy. Sigh.....lace panels, and rugs.

I was given a cow hide rug recently, but cannot see me putting it down anywhere here for a while.....dogs.

I have a horrid 80s blue and pink rug that my neices coloured in with ornage fluorescent pen which will probably be going down on the concrete floor in the study in a few weeks, and a casa pupo (spelling.?) bottle green and navy monstrosity that will have to go on the kitchen floor. My mother gave me one of her oriental rug collection, a fairly thread bare (how I prefer them) woollen dark rug which is on our ghastly carpet.
