That certainly works for some things, alfie, but I'm not sure that it may not just spread other things.

    Wallace & Gromit :D

    It's no wonder I can't get a mower at a decent price around here!:rotfl:

I'm still winning on the ebay one, but only just.....

There's a pretty good machine at the back of the shed at the church, which no one seems to use, due to its size, but I'm still far too much of a newbie to suggest that I might purchase it.... :o

Apparently, someone asked about the mystery bloke who was cutting the graveyard last Tuesday, but it wasn't the vicar. By the law of averages I'll probably run into him one day. If & when he does ask who I am, because I'm not one of his 'flock,' I've promised myself I'll reply "Oh, just some poor bu99er whose daughter you refused to marry!" :p

The forthcoming event has filled every hotel & B&B in the town where it's happening. Unfortunately for the locals, thanks to their vicar, none of this money is being spent here.

    Really?
The roots can be a couple of feet long!

I would say that it pulls out the same if not more roots than I would get out if I was digging them by hand. Plus it is way more fun :D

    Oh :(
We had one of that sort for a few years. He upset nearly everyone in the 7 or so parishes he 'shepherded'. Ex-Met Police, didn't believe in asking Lottery for any help toward building upkeep etc. The local churches nigh on fell apart before he left for pastures new & the new bod arrived who had a more realistic attitude.

Between the various organisations (Church, Councils, NP etc.) who are meant to have the good of the community at heart, they actually seem to do their utmost to make life as hard as possible for their people :(

While I'm having a moan :rotfl:
What do we all make of MSE selling out to Moneysupermarket.com?
It makes me a little uncomfortable. It would be a shame to disappear & leave friends behind but I'm not a happy bunny.
