i also now have a mental picture of dave sat in an old fashioned deck chair in a sleeping bag watching his tomatoes by torch light...:rotfl::rotfl:

No that's next year, when we don't have a house to live in. :p

Anyway, if you can have a horse whisperer, I can be a tomato whisperer. Every morning, I go down there and whisper "Come on, you b*gg*rs!" ;)

Planning application's in.:j I seriously doubt that we'll be able to afford the build we've gone for, but nothing ventured & all that....We are both pragmatic enough to take it on the chin if we need to go for Plan B.

The Thank You buttons go quite well with Bran Flakes.

Another scorcher so may just get out in the garden to crouch & weed.

That'll be us in a few days. If the weather stays like this, at least we'll have a glorious time in the caravan for the Summer....

Horse whisperers are amazing, aren't they, alfie? :j

We're due to have temperatures in the 20s for 4 days from tomorrow but then the end of the month & into June the rain is back & the temps are down again.

5 days to make the most of it :D
I'm going to make a point of having one of those 4 days as an "Enjoy" day so that they don't all disappear trying to catch up with outside work.
Now, it's just a case of what to do on the day ??????

Tomorrow is going to be bath horse day. Try and get thje last bits of coat off the old gals then drench them in fly spray. Today has been lie in the garden with the dogs and read a book day. I have finally defrosted.....my bones are warming up and the dogs are happily dozing in the long grass in the dappled shade. Big dog normally hates the sun, feeling the heat easily, but even she seems pleased to be put, albeit in the shade...where of course is where i am happier they are sleeping.

Edit: though that sounds lazy, we did weed like stink yesterday and i promised myself a relax day when we got heat. I feel a different person today.....reduced pain, more energy, and just....not freezing.
