    hi all,
im back from what can only be described as..........bedlam.......disorganised chaos....
if this panto is ready to go in just 9 days i will be amazed. it didnt seem the least bit funny, except for the "out takes".....:D

How long has it been in production? It seems to be taking some time and maybe people are losing enthusiasm. TBH, 9 days is more than we needed to lick ours into shape, but it depends on how complex it is, I suppose.

I once made a video for a panto group in a large suburb of Bristol. Theirs was impressive, but horrendously complicated and far too long. Ours here is very home grown by comparison, but half the fun is achieving good effects and atmosphere with very limited resources.

Poor Bimble! .....but that's a great name. :)

it started just before xmas....trouble is this "producer/director person [cant use the word lady] has missed the point of it being a local yokel /pi**taking/funny/PANTO....:( me finks ,she finks theres an hoscar lurking in a cupboard wiv er name on it....:D
last years was hilarious and the local "stars" were allowed to "run with it" if lines were forgotten..:D
like you said, people lose interest when they give up thier time and it gets boring...

    That's a shame, alfie.

Pantos should be fun for everyone - cast, crew & audience.
However, the "failed lovie" syndrome you describe happens all too often.

I used to be pestered to do am dram things but, apart from some choreography with one club many years ago, I've firmly resisted the temptation.

I've always had a bit of a horror of middle aged women squeezing themselves into basques to "do" Cabaret or fighting over who should play Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz  :rotfl:

Have you ticked the "Remember Me" option? You should then be able to get straight in.
You'll still have to log in if you actually log out, of course, & also after you've wiped your History.

Well - I've been stuck in listing on the bay & am cross-eyed with it. got fed up so ended up relisting a load of unsold stuff. Gosh it's an effort & seems like a marathon. Hope I get loads of sales.

Nice day but ended up wet & very windy indeed. Seems very mild & swealtering with the stove lit.

Panto sounds a bit pants Alfie - don't know how you have the patience - think I'd open my big mouth & offend the control freak.

Well I'm gonna make some hot chocolate & get to bed - Monday tomorrow - feel I haven't had a weekend. Pile of boring papery workery stuff that won't wait past the morning..........ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzz
