CLAPTON wrote:your answer to my question about the value of the house and mortgage was ambiguous but if (and only if ) you mean that the mortgage is similar to the house value then you have no equity in the house.
in this situation you really have two options
a. go bankrupt ...if there is no equity in the house then it ought to be possible for a friend/parent o buy the equity for a nominal sum
b. or just pay nominal (£1 ) per creditor.
Sorry, i am not sure of the exact amount of mortgage and equity release but i do no it is nearly the same as value of the house so there would be no equity, i think we are paying the niminal amount through payplan.

If, like me, the OP has spent ages living on next to nothing, and never buying clothes etc, then this will be her actual spend. But Payplan have minimum amounts that they will allow you to put down, and I think that those are what the OP has listed in the SOA? I think.

Bessy I would keep to one thread about your SOA etc so that the DFW's can follow your posts and give you the best advice. Just a thought!!0

I agree I will pull them together, if you start multiple threads the useful advice gets split up and harder to find;)0 -

Thanx for advice, i just keep on this thread now?! Have had a good nights sleep for once, am going to join quidco today and check my insurance prices. If i can reduce my outgoings do i contact payplan, just wondering cos at the moment OH keeps getting sent home early so wage is up and down. I have already started home baking and the kids are playing with homemade play dough (better than shop bought), ace:D. I will be doing most of my shopping at lidl this week got to give it a go, shoping last week £15 but cupboards are bare!!!!!!!!! Can't do too much car in for mot repairs tomorrow, £180:eek: I have also asked OH to look for another job, you need to have a regular income in this situation preferably with some overtime! not reduced time! Also am selling some items on ebay to try and recover costs of mot repairs. Feel like i am babbling at the minute, don't know about anyone else, but it all gets a bit overwhelming sometimes.

Hi
Have you tried living to the budget that payplan have given you to live on? If so you should be spending £563 on food and house keeping for example and £63 on clothes, etc.
Once you've made your payments to payplan and the mortgage and utilities you have no other urgent expenditure. That way if you spend less than the budgeted amount on an area eg food and clothes you can save that money for emergancies.
Payplan have organised your finances so you aren't struggling each month which is why the figures are higher than what you were actually spending. You could also cancel the direct debits on your account and pay you bill with cash that way you are avoiding bank charges so you do have this set amount of money to live off.
I hope that helps0
