You can get some ace clothes at decent prices at primark, george, Tesco. For you normal everyday clothes anyhow.
I don't often buy clothes, i am having to rely on my mum and dad for kids clothes and i manage with what i already have!!

That's the correct way to look at everything, to work out how much you get per month - as child benefit is paid every four weeksNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I will try not to waffle. Up to last year we were paying payplan £114. Then my OH lost his job and was unemployed for about 5 months, during which time we could not pay the mortgage, so when he did get a job (with cr#p wage) we had to reduce our payments to payplan and then he was on short time thru December which has not helped. We are now paying heavily, i have done my best thru the last few months, it doesn't help when he doesn't want to know until he wakes up and then says its my fault we have no money. He had one of these moments this week when the car failed its mot, which was my fault! I think i should have posted earlier, like last year! When paypal did my budget origianally i gave them my figures, but they said they were too low. I have just done my annual review with them and said the same thing ie clothing budget they said that was in their guide lines!

I dont understand. You said you pay £69 a month for clothes which is £828 a year. So do you not pay that then? I am just trying to understand what is going where. I am not having a go.March 2006 £15,200+ in debt April £843.64 in debt - Debt Free date Sept 2009
Egg Credit Card - £843.64 5.7%0 -
That's probably where the confusion is coming from then, don't worry I'm not getting at you, my dad is the same way and I've just done a DMP for him. The Debt Free Wannabe way of thinking can take a while to click

The guide lines from payplan for a family of 4 says £69 and thats not the highest amount. I just don't spend that i wish i could!

your answer to my question about the value of the house and mortgage was ambiguous but if (and only if ) you mean that the mortgage is similar to the house value then you have no equity in the house.
in this situation you really have two options
a. go bankrupt ...if there is no equity in the house then it ought to be possible for a friend/parent o buy the equity for a nominal sum
b. or just pay nominal (£1 ) per creditor.0 -
