He will if you return it with Avast gone and AVG installed.
Why did you do that? Avast is much the better AV program. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Hey you guys, hope you hav'nt left me..
I'm running TDSSkiller and its asking me that for the app to run properly it is recommending to extract all files, should I do this or go straight to 'run'?0 -
Thanks macman, will get that sorted too0

when you download TDSS killer, as it's a zip file, you should choose the Save option and save it to your desktop. Then, right-click on it, and Extract All. This will pop a normal folder on the desktop. Open this, and either right-click and Run As admin or just double-click to run.
You can't normally run a file in a zip folder without extracting (unzipping it) first.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Are you running it straight from the internet? If so save the file to your hard drive first.0 -
Don't deviate from the recommended options either, if it detects suspicious objects but the option is to skip, then skip it.0

mac - well spotted mate, good call
angela - to remove avg properly, use the removal tool, first or second on the list here, depending on if the lappy has a 32 or 64-bit operating system - save the download to desktop for ease of locating it:-

recommend running it twice on the trot, then CCLeaner's cleaner and registry scans before re-installing avast......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
