verbal abuse while parking in BB zone

So, does someone like me need a BB space more over someone like my dad.....I really don't know the answer.....
Obviously if it's literally a case of you and your dad both driving somewhere to find one BB space then you can decide between you!
But in general I'd say that if there wasn't space for you and your dad then the chances are that the spaces provided are being mis-used!0 -
If you suffer from some form of mental illness(ess),can you use a disabled parking bay?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Nothing annoys the self-appointed BB 'inspectors' than treating them as if they're invisible. Another strategy is to respond with 'reeelly' in a Vicky Pollard voice to everything they say.
They're irritating sods, so don't get irritated - have some fun at their expense......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Has Anyone ever noticed that apparently disabled people don't come out on Sundays? I have a bb and the last time we tried to park in town in a Sunday, some git jumped into the last disabled place. Hubby got out and politely informed him it was disabled parking, only to be told " yeah but that don't count on a Sunday" !!!!0

To be fair to the person concerned, he may well have been used to an area where disabled spaces are only in operation Monday - Saturday. I live in Lincoln, and every disabled bay I know locally is only restricted between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Saturday. However, I frequently get moaned/shouted/sworn at by BB holders who don't seem to understand that I am perfectly within my rights to use these spaces on a Sunday.0 -
I'm sorry but there are worse things in life to get het up about. Fact is there is substantial abuse of disabled parking. There is an Asda in Halifax with reserved places close to the store and near the ATMs. So what do people do? You guessed it... I've had a go at these types myself. At least those who do challenge parkers are doing it with the best of intentions - which is to safeguard the places for those entitled. If people weren't prepared to go out on a limb to make these frauds feel uncomfortable, there would probably be less available disabled parking places.
So yes it can suck to have a hidden disability and get called out by someone like me. But before you get overcome with rightous indignation, think about it...0 -

Both my mother and aunt have mental illnesses. They both have Blue Badges and both use disabled bays, not because they need them but because they like it!
I don't think they should have them, they are both able bodied.0
