These self-appointed BB wardens are a nuisance, aren't they? I used to get embarrassed and quite upset by (mainly old, I'm afraid) people making comments about me parking in BB bays, because I too "don't look disabled". I have PPMS. Someone on MSE once said that their reply to that one is "well, you don't look stupid" which made me laugh!
You just have to have the courage of your convictions - YOU know you are entitled to the BB, so ignore any rudeness. I think you handled it beautifully, but if the person persists I would just tell them to take it up with the police and carry on.

That's the kind of thing I would think about doing myself too, I would say something along the lines of "if you want to check with the police" (or someone able to check yea that I am legit) "then go right ahead" then make some comment to make them feel the same way I do being questioned about it, I would be furious about it!

The reason why I would be like that is because I could probably be accepted for having one but I just don't want one, I always feel like there's someone worse off than me and there's only a few things I have problems with physically like I won't go into huge detail about it but I suffer from a form of FAP quite a modest sufferer of it too.

I have had the first operation for it and cope quite well with it I think it's just I have my bad days and good days.

Though there are allot of good days than bad days which accounts to why I won't want a BB for now, though I have been told and even when I have needed the loo my mother said once he is (I really wasn't happy about that using a disabled toilet because I am not registered), but thought I was only going to be quick anyways, don't like using something someone could really badly need and I am using I would feel so ashamed of myself (I felt when my mother said that I was it's like the guy said yea he doesn't look like didn't actually say that though but I sensed it).

But yes I would be soo angry about that, keep your head held high is all I say!
Doing some indepth analysis of my outgoings it's a real eye opener!

I find if I keep paying by card and keeping the receipts insisting that I have them from the shop, then itemising them when I get home on excel makes my life a whooole lot easier!
