So when I was a child it was not unknown to come home rather dirty much to mums horror.

So today at work I ended up in the muddiest field I can recall in a long time, this has left my waterproofs, car seat & car floor caked in mud. ah memories

    Happy Birthday Julie.
LW, he's lovely, 40 mile an hour couch potatoes is how I heard grey hounds described.
    Bargainbird, don't work too hard.
Molly, glad you feel up to posting.
Work is still chaotic, things still aren't working properly.
Since I got home I have cooked tea, put the WM on twice, the DW once, darned half a shedload of socks, half a shedload still to do, now I'm going to put my feet up & crochet a couple of rows of the baby blanket& then go to bed.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Evening,

Busy morning for me, then work, so first chance to post today.

HH new machines causing some panic, luckily they both working fine but you know what people are like? When faced with one very stressed member of staff who looked like they would cry if had to work out new machine, told them it was same one it had just had a clean, logged them in and off they went oblivious!!!

Monnogran, gave you a wave today as I cycled along seafront as such lovely day, windier than I expected though.

BossyMoo my neice has same problem as your DD. Drs and HV told SIL that she would quickly grow out of it if it was avoided completely rather than introducing small amount every now and then. She is now 5 and still has symptoms you describe which can be distressing for all. However she copes well with sunflower marg and make sure plenty of apples and green veg for calcium, oat milk is OK too. Sounds like you are doing so well all things considered.

OS washing dried outside today, nice fresh air, used some of the hygiene stain remover powder on white towels, made me think 'is it cheaper to use this type of product or wash on a hot wash?' I bought it as was on offer half price but at full price is it a saving? Vacuumed upstairs, dusted downstairs, Cleaned kids bathroom and gave it good airing. Dinner was crispy duck (whoopsied) with HM chow mein and pancakes for pud. Made double batter will have rest as yorkies tomorrow.

Meant to ask, did I miss something (very likely) but when first started reading these posts was following Farmers Wife who was such brave lady. Not seen any posting from her lately.

    Positive thoughts to all.

LameWolf - Dylan is absolutely gorgeous - the spitting image of DHs first ever rescue greyhound who he called Flash.

just had our pancakes and very yummy they were.

    Evening all!
Had a stressful end to my weeks holiday, with DS thinking it would be a great laugh at 16 to down a whole bottle of Buckfast then collapse at MILs house.........suffice to say the resulting hangover and fear of death from alcohol poisoning will hopefully keep him sober till he's 18, if not daddy will find out next time!
Have spent today researching residential care home reports on line, tomorrow will take mum visiting them, not many to choose from in easy travelling distance for her, and all the council run ones will apparently be closing in 18 months as they are building a "superhome". OS wise, the fairys haven't been, so the ironing will be shouting in the morning, and there is a ton of mince defrosting in the fridge to be turned into dinners for tomorrow and the freezer.
    :bdaycake:Happy birthday Julie!
Big hugs to all, am off to bed if OH stops snoring!
    RIP Iain
