  • Hello folks.

Happy pancake day. I am hibernating at the moment, work is about all I can manage. Still don't have a definite finish date, yet. OH is off to concrete cow country tomorrow for a fortnight, so LW and bb please look out for him. He's the big hairy Scotsman. ;)

Dinner tonight is chilli as ds2's friend is here and its his fave, and scotch pancakes with nutella to follow.

Hugs all round, especially to sunflower.

Thank you for the hugs I have come out of my lurk to say "Ta"

Have got the tots off to nursery this morning, been to work, left for my counselling appointment, only to realise I have left my lunch bag at work. And I won't be there till next mon

Counselling was ok. I told her I was struggling to concentrate at work, and we had a chat and I feel better, I am normal, and displaying normal behaviours, so that's ok. Now I just have to stop putting pressure on myself. Because no one else is. Including my boss. (who I think is just grateful for me turning up at the mo).

Have put the wm on with my bedding, house is tidy, so I'll go get those tots soon then they can make a mess

Taking the lady tot to milk clinic tomorrow, need to tell them she is getting no better with dairy as even a tablespoon of yoghurt just came straight out the other end  brilliant when she is constipated but seems to give her tummy ache too, I can't keep doing that to her. They said she should grow out of it by 2 and she is nearly 18mths and it seems worse if anything.

Anyone know much about milk protein intolerance? She is soya intol too which is a bit annoying. But I do make her all sorts with oat milk.

    Blessings to all x

Bossymoo not a lot of help to you really, but my mother couldn't tolerate dairy - even as an adult, she always drank her tea black, and never touched cheese or yogurt. I remember my grandmother telling me she'd been like it all her life, but I'm afraid I know no more details of what she was given to eat as a child - sorry.

Bitsy did you get your washing dry? Mine's all dry and in the airing cupboard.;) (After another swearing session, getting it off the line)

LW - Dylan is lovely, I always think Greyhounds look so calm.
Sunflower - Go for it, I think a red sparkly wig would be great! Your attitude is fabulous.
Bossymoo - Hope you feel better after the counselling, my DS2 had a dairy intolerance when he was about 6 months old and had to go onto Soya milk until he was about 2. It didn't do him any harm as he is now 6'2! Maybe you could see your health visitor regarding replacements.
Bargainbird - I love the little bunny but unfortunately I have no idea how to crochet.

Still off work here, my tummy pains have gone but I am still suffering a bit with the back strain but it is getting better. I have also made the decision to have this darned coil removed as after a couple of months free of anything I am back to square 1. The worst thing is the permanent tender boobs to the point of wearing a bra at night and sleeping sat up! That will be Friday's treat to look forward to!

Washing up to date, another book finished and house reasonably clean and tidy (apart from DDs room which is a tip but nothing to do with me).

Hugs to all. Take care. XX

    Hi everyone.

I'm truanting from Publisher and the magazine. My wretched computer is having an 'off' day and keeps freezing for up to 10 or 11 minutes at a time. I really don't have that much time to waste.

I had my pancakes at the church Pancake and Coffee morning. Very nice they were too. We've been invited to the Catholic church tonight to have some of their pancakes but I think I might cry off and send Vicarage on her own. I am very conscious of what I am eating at the moment and two lots of pancakes is a bit excessive, even for me.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE x

Adelight: Well done you for having clothes still in a condition good enough to pass on. I don't think anyone would thank me for any of my clothes. I don't even like them myself, but have sworn not to buy any more until I have lost some weight.

Sunflower: Thinking of you a lot. Love the wig, will we get a pic of it? You are going to look scrummily outrageous.

Jaxx. Well done DS with the job. They do emerge into reasonable and civilised beings eventually, though it is very hard to picture it sometimes. Mine is 42 and I am still looking for signs of improvement. Loads of hugs to you and well done for bringing up well balanced adults, it's not easy is it?

LW: What can I say? It's those eloquent eyes that get me every time. You must find it hard when it's time to part with them again.

Camelot: Do hope you feel better soon. I take it you are going to be put out of your misery on Friday. Ah! I didn't mean that quite the way it sounds ...........! Good luck anyway.

Taplady - its a beginners art course although it would appear I was the only beginner in the class!

I hope you enjoy it - wish we had a similar course round here.
What is the area you like best? I like watercolour and pastels.

Fish and chips for tea and pancakes later on.:)

2 loads of washing all dried outside and then ironed.

Downstairs windows all cleaned inside and out.

Just the dogs to be walked later on.

have a lovely evening all x
    Do what you love :happyhear
