We used to love having takeaways, but it is clearly to expensive. What we now do is buy a Tesco/Sainsbury/Waitrose Indian for 2 meal bag which is under £10. It tastes lovely and we don't feel so guilty when we want a treat.

Those who cba to hang washing out on the line need a change of mindset.

I love it! I get the washing on as early as possible in the morning, so I have time to hang out before the school run (not at the moment though, of course). Children are eating breakfast and s[STRIKE]quabbling, crying, telling tales or just[/STRIKE] chatting indoors and I am outside in the fresh air with the radio on and the birdsong. It's a great start to the day. When I bring it in it's usually while the little [STRIKE]monsters[/STRIKE] darlings are having tea and I again take the opportunity to have a few minutes' peace and air, and sometimes (depending on how stressful the day has been) a cold glass of cider  :D.

Ha that is me! As soon as I read 'a cold glass of cider' I thought 'Another Westcountry folk!' :j

To me, these are the worst of both worlds. Don't taste anything like as good as a takeaway and still pricey!

Chucking perfectly useable clothes/items in the bin rather than reselling because, well, I cba!
Takeaways, I'm a sod for them, Had one last night because my niece and nephew ended up staying and I had no energy to cook.. Often have one on friday after work because I finish late but not too late to order like normal ;)
Buying premade sauces/mixes rather than making my own...
Getting a taxi to work rather than the bus, or even walking, It's only a mile!
Wow, I'm lazier than I thought lol.

A taxi for a one mile journey? Don't mean to be rude, Lucy, but I think that's a new low for this thread, isn't it?

Agree with this, I love to get my washing out on the line at every opportunity and I only use the tumble dryer when I have to - mainly in winter when you have no choice and condensation becomes a problem.

My biggest problem at the moment is getting my but into gear for a car boot which the loft is groaning out for. I need to get it done but apathy and getting up extra early is something that I need to address. Other thing is of course is the concern of how much I am going to make out of it - last time after pitch was paid it was £14.50 and just about covered the fuel bill there and back!

I've just cost myself money by being lazy. I've just had to throw 4 chicken breasts in bin because they were OOD and I kept meaning to put them in the freezer and just didn't get round to it.

Sorry, I know this was a while ago, but....

I have to go and see a flat, it's only a 6 mile round trip to walk it, but I'm taking the car as I [a] can't be bothered to walk there unsure of how safe the route home along the beach, then track, might be at whatever time I end up leaving.... and not sure what time it gets dark.

It also means if the potential flatmate is in fact a murderer.... they've also got to work out how to dispose of my car from their car park, increasing their chances of getting caught :)

I rarely use a line outside because I have to go to work all day - and it'd invariably rain while I was there.

Most washing I've always dried indoors on clothes horses....

Even if it were going to be dry all day I'd not hang it out on the line unless I were there as it does have the ability to blow away, drop off, or be poo'd on by birds - and I like to turn it while it's drying, so I have to be there.
