She will love to see you regardless of frequency I am sure :)

Thank you - I am really pleased I did it. The reason I am decluttering and getting organised thro NSJ's is so that when I am DF we can move to the country. So I see getting organised as preparation for that! It'll be the best planned moved in history LOL.

I think I might do some photos tomorrow actually, maybe with a nice glass of my fav tipple to mark the occasion! We shall see.

  • My NSJ's over last couple of days have been:
    - sorted out my chest of drawers and got rid of a pile of old clothes
    - painted garden fence (well another section as the paint ran out)
    - got DS (16yo layabout) to sort out the massive pile of revision paperwork now his exams are over and put it all in the recycling

And today I'm taking DS shopping for new trainers and footie boots - wish me luck!

Hi, there, mind if I join you. Committing to things in front of other people always seems to motivate me more!

Last night's NSJ was finally sorting out summer childcare for DD. Been doing a balancing act between one club where I had to book by today to get the 10% discount and a sports course that she really wants to do, but hadn't published their dates. Finally got the sports dates on Wednesday, so everything's now booked - including my time off from work :T.

For a relatively small job, it's taken up a huge amount of time and grief.

Checked the slug and snail beer trap today.

Not a thing in it, not sure if this is a good sign as not getting many, or if they are just ignoring it and wandering past laughing.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Finally gave the 'front garden privets' a good haircut - amazing how much they'd grown while we were on holiday. Need to get the 'rear ones' done tomorrow ready for the Garden Waste Collection on Monday morning :(.

I haven't done it yet, but before I go to work tonight I will be nipping into Asda to get someone 8 pairs of knickers.....not something I do every day....week.....or month thinking about it.

Lol giggling at some of these!

This weekend we tidied out the yard and I put the photos on the laptop from the camera so pleased with boh of those.

Today I have shed loads of house work to do and to go to T£sco so I won't be getting a NSJ done I don't think.

Cleaned out my garden cabin which more often than not is used by my older teens as a doss house/dumping ground.

Now my next job which I have been putting off is "my" drawer in the kitchen where all offers, vouchers, miscellaneous stuff gets put. Cant get any more in so it needs sorting!

I cleaned my computer table drawer, it now holds things only relevant to the computer! Now if only I can do the rest of the computer table. I'll also be fixing some dolls house furniture that my 18 month old tried to sit on and accidentally broke. He was really sad when he realised, bless him.

Having given the hedges their well-needed haircut and tidying up the mess that it creates, I decided to some weeding before the Garden Waste was collected this morning ................ managed to put out a small wheelie bin half full of weeds out with the the 2 large ones of grass cuttings and hedge trimmings.

After that, I decided to transfer the slope of soil from one side of the garden into the 'silly dip/hole' on the other side BEFORE I manage to fall in it ................. well I managed to do around an hour and a half of digging/shovelling before the heat got too much for me :(.

Am now watching JK without feeling guilty but will finish that job off this evening AFTER the soaps have been on :).
