Love this idea. Have cleaned the venetian blind in the study. Horrible job but it now looks lovely and shiny. Now, if I dust it regularly will it stay that way?0

OK I've done 6 of the wedding thank yous. Still nearly 30 to go
it's an endless job, and I feel really guilty about not doing it already, which is paradoxically making me less likely to get them out as I just want to avoid the whole thing... will try to do another couple before bed!

Yesterday I moved 4 barrow loads of bricks from where the previous owner had dumped them in the undergrowth at the end of the garden, now stacked neatly by the gate ready to be taken away this weekend.

Morning all!
Lovely to see people benefitting from this thread. I know there are many out there however I find one job a day that I normally put off is so much easier than a list to do on a Saturday or something when I should be spending time with my familySo welcome and thanks for the posts - they are motivating me too and also reminding me of things I could be doing myself to make life easier overall.
I'm still on tonight for filing the paperwork from the cupboard I tidied the other night. I've actually started a spreadsheet for things I've done and would like to do. LOL!Debt - CCV £3792

Hey everyone, love this thread. This is something I have been doing for a few weeks now along with some serious decluttering. Definately make life easier and less stresssed and I have places to put things rather than just throwing them into a drawer / cupboard.
Yesterday I sorted my girls bedroom, finally putting the sides off the cot away and removing some old toys for the cs. My eldest was delighted when she got in from school, took me 30 mins and it looks totally different. Amazing what you can do in 15 - 30 mins.
not sure of todays job yet, i'll see what inspires me when i get home from workJune GC Budget - 310/400

Well last night I was wiped out so did nothing. I rarely "do nothing" so does that count as being non standard I wonder lol.
I've added a few things to my list, from which I will pick my NSJ's. Tonight though I won't have time to do much other than a bit of paperwork organising.
Hope everyone's okDebt - CCV £3792

Today I did the council's job, scraping the weeds from the gutter as they were a right mess.
The council road-sweeper nu-nu thing never comes into our cul de sac.
YL, you've inspired me to do the bathroom blind tomorrow . It won't stay clean for long.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Over the moon - I managed to file all paperwork that's been hiding around all over the place. Anything I've missed can now easily be put in it's place. It took all of 40 mins or so, so I am really glad I did it tonight. Working for an hour now then reasonably early night as I need to be up early to get some jobs done before work.
I'm thinking at some point over the next few weeks, sorting photos out will be joining my NSJ list.
Happy evening everyone xDebt - CCV £3792

Well done :T
I did a whole 8 more wedding thank yous today - only 22 more to go  well, they're written, I still need to address most of them before I can post them (and buy stamps too lol).
Had a day off yesterday as I went to visit my mum straight after work and never got back until after 11pm. Unless visiting my mum counts as a NSJ as I definitely don't go over enough... (she's not a wee lonely old lady or anything, she's a busy woman with a full time job, husband, big dogs and a house renovation on just now, but I still should go over much more than I do!!)Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
