  • Blimey! That's going to feel like a long year, but good luck to you! It'll be great if you can wipe out practically all of your debt in just 365 days.

Here's my tip - when I was at college I used to "borrow" toilet rolls and light bulbs from the lavs. Had to stop with the light bulbs when I fell off my mate's shoulders and almost hit a toilet with my head. Obviously not going to mention which college in case they track me down... would have to add 3 years worth of bog rolls onto my debt signature :)

Hi Lauren, just wanted to add my best wishes with this. Keep us posted as to how it's going! x
  • Wow I am seriously intrigued by this challenge and am really looking forward to your updates.

I would have to say, for me, £5 a week for things I cannot live without would have to include loo roll & toothpaste (assuming I didn't have a stash of it like you do - good move there by the way :T ;))

I am sure there are loads of ways on line on how to make soap too.

In fact I hope this google URL comes out, you may find something of interest here:

I would also have to buy 'ladies things' at the time of the month (can't quite bring myself to do the mooncup thing...sorry to those who do...'nuff respect to you...) and painkillers!!!

    Anyway that's just me.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes GOOD LUCK! :)

Good luck with the challenge...I'm looking forward to seeing, if you can give us any hints on how not to spend.

    And to Dithering Dad...

Thanks for that, I thought me and my girlfriend were they only ones who'd done that. When we've mentioned it to other people, they looked at us like we were mental, and then with a look of suspicion....:D
