Don't know about the petrol and the toothpaste, but people really did use to cut newspaper into squares, thread string through and hang it up in the loo.

There's a book in the Tesco top 50 - sorry I can't remember what it's called - where someone has done this in America and written a 365 day diary about it. I haven't brought it (coz I'm saving money) but have read bits of it in my lunch hour !!
Good luck.0 -

Already got 12 tubes of smile!, went on to boots online last week and got a load of clearance items like lynx gift sets for £1.22 not bad for the deodorant, shower gel, aftershave and little bag. I will miss my bootsing trips but i have more wraps, bags, free makeup and 19p shaving foam than boots probably do! lol
My mum has also given me her boots card with £80 worth of points on there so that will cover some toiletries, toys and urgent baby clothes for a while0 -
Blimey! That's some challenge - good luck!
Can I just ask, how old are your kids? Can just see my 9 year old understanding that....NOT! lolGOD BLESS DURAN DURAN
