I reckon we have saved roughly about £220 - £240 so far, not checked my accounts today. Our budget was never very big so i wasn't expecting huge returns but am pleasantly suprised by my workings out. Will try and figure out a debt free date soon
Well I think thats an amazing amount in only 22 days! Well done to you & your family!0 -
LOVEFILM have started to charge me £4.99 a month even though i cancelled my free trail and sent the DVD back but they are claiming they have never received the DVD and will be charging me until they receive the film, grrrrrrrr.
Do they do this to everyone who doesnt subscribe after a trial?0 -
Phew, lost my diary then, had to hunt back to page 7 or so...
Right i need to confess, yesterday i bought a bottle of coke, 2 mexican chicken ovals, 2 yumyums, 2 twister ice lollies and a pecan slice, and it felt gooooooooooooooooooooooood.
We are helping freinds move house and were a bit pushed for time and just needed some sugar but am making up for it by making some ravioli today, i PASSED my exams and got my diploma certificate through the door this morning (pats self on back) so i am calling my splurge yesterday my treat to my self.
Have been collecting lots of items for our boot sale too so we may need to borrow a transit van to fit it all in. lol0 -

Sorry slightly off subject but I felt I must say to Jet 34-congratulations as I noticed in your signature that you are now debt free!
We are lucky in that the only money we owe apart from our mortgage is to ourselves(well actually to our sons college fund) so we have to pay it back within the next two years but I can make payments as & when I want & no interest is charged!
We did owe him £11579 this time last year but through economising & doing some overtime we now only owe £8800.00.0 -
Congrats on your debt free!0

Oh I just love yum yums - my favourite :j
Congrats on passing your exam - big pat on the back - well done :j :j :jWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
Brrr its a wee bit cold this morning, good morning everyone.
So annoyed right now, OH left the kettle on (its an illuminating breville and uses a silly amount of electric just to sit and look pretty) the printer on and the tv and comp monitor on standby, men! they just dont understand do they?0 -
Men? What about teenage daughters? I think mine is going for the record for how many electrical appliances you can have on at any one time....computer; hair straighteners; tv on standby; water heater, kettle....the one that REALLY annoys me is the fan heater on our electric fire, which she turns on & sits in front of wearing JUST A TEE SHIRT! Grrr!0
