ok am about to cancel the EVIIIIIIL capitolone card with an APR to match  , it has been empty for a while so just got to find the last 4 digits.
Both skycards can stay because when the 0% is up i will see what they can offer, Hilton honours has a £5k:eek: limit and are constantly sending me 4.9%offers so would be wise to keep that incase i get declined for another 0%, marbles has gone (but kept the ashes as a reminder) and skycard is still active as that has the biggest balence on.
Should take me another 0% cycle to clear it all (hopefuly)0 -

The idea is to freeze your CC in a tub of water in the freezer so if you REALLY need to use one, you will have it there BUT it won't be available for impluse buys (like QVC, lol)
HTH,

I could understand keeping them in the freezer if they were still intact, to keep you from using them until really desperate... but if they are cut up already then why keep them?Maybe for the code on the back of the card?
You can still cancel the cards when the time comes with the info from your credit card statements, no need for the cards but I guess you are keeping them in case you need to make a purchase as you;d need the expiry date etc.MFW #185

Hi Lauren, re your mothers day gift ideas. Have you thought about a box of promises, we did one for mu Mother-in-law once and it was a great success. It was a wee box filled with wee notes saying things like....I owe you one hug, I will do two hours of ironing for you, We will wash your car, I promise to listen to you without interupting! We put in promises from us and from the kids, she said it was her best pressie ever and it didn't cost us a penny.Grippy is my middle name!0

Or why not make a scrapbook of special photos/memories of your family for her? Add in some hand prints of the kiddies?0

Well is seriously hope no body ever puts active credit cards in the bin0 -
I'd spilt the bits between bins - anyhoo - as long as they're not used it's all good news and you must feel great
