My L reg Toyota Previa. Always starts first turn of the key and will do well over a ton should I ever feel inclined (which I never do). It will swallow a 4 seater settee without a problem or carry 6 passengers and all their luggage.

It needs a service and is booked in for one on Thursday.

My Grand Voyager could take an 8x4 sheet and I'd used it for a couple of flittings. Was able to move a 2 bed flat in 2 runs with a 6x4 trailer attached.
Today I struggled to get an 80x33 door in the Passat.

It could also do over a ton, and I'd had 600kg in the back of it once too.

Oh how I miss that car.

My 206 used to swallow allsorts, kingsize mattress folded in half, fridge, washing machine, wheelie bin, even a old couch snapped to fit at one point. :rotfl:

We had a 206 and 406 at the same time. Both were absolutely brilliant at carting crap around/

206 was flogged to a friend, 406 ended up on the company fleet for the 6 years after I replaced it with the first S-Max, then ended up with a family member. Spaceship mileage now, but still mechanically sound.

The 2002 Focus is only used as a second car, largely because with sport suspension it's not comfortable enough for day to day use (I spend about 30 hours a week behind the wheel, and prefer the seats on the XF for long drives)

Just got a pair of part worn bridgestones fitted to the hyundai. Look fine, plenty of tread, but one seems to be date marked 2006. Should I be worried?

£80. A bit pricey I know but they were open on a Sunday and could do it there and then. My car does take a slightly unusual size too.

I'd not be; however, you could use the age as leverage for a part refund.

I've been running a 1998 Toyota Starlet for about 4 years now. Over that time I've had to replace a few things (battery, tyres, brake pads, exhaust mid section, rear wheel bearings). The coolant temperature sensor was playing up for a while recently giving an EML and occasional rough running, but a new sensor for £50 fixed that. On average I'd say I've spent about £200 per year on maintenance plus about the same again on service and MOT.
