I have a golfing buddy who works in london 300 miles away, he goes Sunday comes home Friday, has wife and kids to provide for. So if you are willing to move there are jobs out there. Ive found several positions that im sure LadyMissA could apply for if willing to leave home
LadyMissA already lives in London and it is hardly unlikely she can can a job 300 miles away in the sticks (as would have to travel OUT) if there is none in London - where everyone comes to look for jobs.0 -
^^^^^^^^^^^
thats true what you say but these people have said they sit on computers 18 hours per day searching for work but cannot find any. sure they cant they wont move more than 20 miles from their homes. Ok but I would guess that your golfing buddy has a good job to commute 300 miles. Would he be willing to do that for a sales assistant role at Tesco (or similar)? I doubt it.
But in essence I agreed with your point and still do.0 -

A very good point. To be honest it would not surprise me if one could not find a job in London, as although there's plenty of opportunity there, there are also plenty of locals, + those commuting in.0 -
Who has said you cannot find a job to apply for?
What I have said is quote: these people have said they sit on computers 18 hours per day searching for work but cannot find any
mmmm, no mention of applying for jobs.
You only work part time. Why is that? Can you find any real full time jobs with a good salary?
Any idea on what you have to do to get a real job?
Any idea how many times I have been turned down for being over qualified?
You are a real a*** !
I will not be replying to a p**t like you again0 -

explain then what you mean by 'can't find any'

Again, got to agree with you here. I've been rejected many times for being over qualified. The reasoning; we'll still be looking for something better (thus unreliable, in one respect). Even finding jobs advertised is not a guarantee of actually having any success. Look at me, 600+ applications, about 5% resulted in interviews, none have resulted in an offer as of yet.0 -
you stated that we or ME can't find jobs but you are deluded if you think an application gets you the job. The application has to be read before you stand a chance of getting the interview and if they do not read all the CV's those people stand no change
Now why don't you !!!! OFF
and you know what I don't give a !!!! if I get banned at least I wont have to see your !!!! all over the board!!
Again I have to agree with you - from what I gather about yourself, and myself I know for certain, I am effectively locked out of a lot of jobs for the simple reason that I've worked hard, gained some specialist skills etc. Whereas if I perhaps had less on my CV I would have less problems picking up a job.0 -
