Well I have challenged Silkyuk9 to find me something to apply for.

Ah but he said he could get anyone a job he didn't say he could find a job to apply for (that is the easy part) he needs to find and get you a job eg putting your CV forward, securing interview and coaching you to a flawless interview to guarantee you will get the job.

Exactly that was what I was trying to get across to that moron. I have plenty of interviews but because of the high number of people looking for work the chances of one of the others they are interviewing being more qualified etc is very high.

I have asked for feedback after most interviews to see if I can improve my technique and not 1 has bothered to reply.

you are a very rude person, you do not like people like me who do not beat around the bush and say it like it is. with your attitude im not suprised you are unemployed.
All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

I didn't realise our little private message chat was to become a public threatre, well ive sent you a list of vacancies good luck

You said you could get anyone a job...

Have you put forward his CV? secured him an interview and coached him to be the best person they interview?

You couldn't get anyone a job all you can do is search for jobs online that isn't getting people into work.

Generally the people I have worked for or have been interviewed by don't have your attitude or your big head.

The attitude 'there are plenty of jobs' has always annoyed me. I used to live in a middling size town in the north of England, was doing temping jobs for about 18 months as couldn't find anything permanent - I had regular jobs that I would get asked back to and would be told they wished they could hire me but 'no budget for it' etc. The local paper which used to have a full 'jobs section' now usually has half a page of jobs and most of those are engineering based and need qualifications. The job centre would freely admit to me that they had nothing new in when I called them most days and the agencies all knew me by name as soon as they picked up the phone. I would send out dozens of spec cvs a week and not get any reply - yet would still have people acting like I wasn't trying if I hadn't found anything.

In the end the temping work trailed off as well so ended up moving to a city. On the surface lots more jobs to apply for - but lots more people applying for them. I would go for interviews and they would tell me that they had pulled a job advert after a few days as they couldn't cope with the number of applicants. I'm working now (me and a part time person in an office that used to have 4 members of full time staff, they've cut back to reduce costs but still mostly the same amount of work to do) but went to see someone about getting a few flexible hours over the evenings and weekends - he'd put an ad up online for part-time, min wage and in 2 days he'd had over 500 applicants! He told me he'd never have time to go through them all so had taken people who had called up and a few off the top that looked interesting.

The people who say it tend to be the people who've never had to look recently.
