Have just done the food shop. Unsure if i should put in under week 1 or week 2...i think i'll put it under week 1.
Spent £27.68 at L!dl
Spent £28.55 at Mr M.
Probably saved myself a small fortune only going to 1 town to buy everything!!
So a total of £56.23. Adding it to the few pounds in my sig from yesterday, this weeks total is £58.90
Not too bad! A bit close to the limit, but its good enough for me!
All i need now is bread, but i am going to go to Mr T with the rest of my emergency £5 and get some whoopsied baugettes for 17p each, so thats be lunches sorted!!0 -
My CTC has increased by £3.80 as from today
!
Every little helps!0 -
Updated my spreadsheet (i have stolen Risings idea of a spreadsheet- although mine is tame compared to hers :rotfl:) STILL cant work out how to autosum, so am doing it by calculator, but thats fine, as long as i keep it updated, its all good!
If you want to total a column in Excel there are two ways:
I normally total mine on row 1 and then use freeze panes to always show row 1 at the top. The manual way is to type this in the cell:
=sum(a2:a199)
where a is the letter denoting the column and the range of numbers is the rows. I do mine for more rows than I am ever likely to use in a month and then I don't need to wonder why something is lower than I expected!
There is also a symbol called a sigma which looks like a spiky backwards capital E (a bit - I've tried to copy it here ∑) and the really quick way is to highlight the cells to total plus the one underneath (or next to it if you are going across) and then click on the sigma and it totals it up.
I hope this helps

Morning!
I am already shattered! My 7 yr old was up almost all night with sickness and diarrhea, bless his heart!
As a result, i am going to have to put some more money in electricity meter, as i have been washing bedding and towels all night. Whilst i am there, i am going to get some gas.
These is FROST on the ground this morning! I think the cold weather is well and truely into Cornwall now!
What i will do today:
Get gas and electric
Check OLB
Avoid SMs
Get all the washing/drying finished
Clean the bathroom
Hopefully get a snooze!0 -

Suffolk Lass beat me to it!
Wish it was cold & frosty here - currently chucking it down which is a bit frustrating as had planned to tackle the garden today (a total mess as I'd had surgery at the end of last years' weed season:rotfl:so it never got tied up then)..... mmmmmm looks like I'll have to do the housework instead!:oGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

The little one is still being sick, so we wont be going anywhere today. Housework for me too!
Have just written my lists of summer/winter essentials to buy, and then saw some flip flops for £2.99 on the grabbit board (were £15) so snapped them up and cross flipflops off my list.
Also bought some suntan lotion at L!dl last week, as it was only a few £.
I think i'll go to primark in the next few months for most of the other stuff as its so cheap in there!0 -
