We dont have a nationwide where I live can you add funds online ie Bacs etc

I just noticed you need a Nationwide card account with them if you want this

In order to apply for an Online ISA you need to hold a Nationwide card account (excludes Regular Savings). If you don't already have a card account you may wish to apply for a CashBuilder card account and an Online ISA at the same time.

I will not be getting involved in cash isa products this year.

    Why would I?

They give me 3% and make upwards of 7% for themselves whilst inflation rides high?

No..its a mugs game. They pretend they are doing you a big favour with their tax free paltry income and in reality, they are taking prudent people for saps.

My current batch of funds in my isa is currently running at 9% tax free. How about a bit of that..
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
  • where can you get 9% from highest I seen is around 5% give or take for a fixed deal over 5 years

Nationwide have been offering 3.1% on internet ISAs for over a year so why do you assume it would be a limited issue?

No, not when you include the fact that you earn 0.5% for the next 6 weeks, drastically reducing the interest rate below the headline rate.

Not correct. The transfer satisfies the minimum balance requirement.
Point 1..........the Bonus now extends to Oct 2013, it used to be Jan 2013.
Point 2....N/w must be giving out incorrect advice as I was told this by them

    Can you have additional deposits?

Instant access with unlimited deposits subject to your annual cash ISA limit, and unlimited withdrawals

A good point although not strictly correct. The last time I did a transfer, it took 5+ weeks to go through.

  • What other product beats this offer? (allows transfers in and additional deposits)
the M&S one is 3.0% so Nationwide is better by 0.1%

If not, i will take this offer :money:

We have both just opened the NW ISA, it is ideal for us as we like to keep a decent amount instantly available, for holidays, helping out the children, and emergencies.

They will be sending details of account numbers by post, and also post out the transfer packs, so it will take a week or more to get it all sorted. Our 3% with Halifax runs out at the end of the month, so need it all organised by then.

We are only transferring in, so will not be making any other deposits initially.

The Nationwide Isa is not really any good if your not a customer already. To open a card account they want £100 deposit and pay .05% interest.I'm going for the M&S cash Isa.

Surely you can just open the account with £100 and just transfer it into the isa?
